I had a 2gb phone which was a new release and it was painful. I ended up buying the Honor Play for less than £200 with 4gb ram. Cool story I know but the RAM issue is important if you don't want to get frustrated with the most simple processes.

Used plenty of phones with 2gb no issues at all, definitely the minimum for a smooth ish experience

Do people still play Pokémon Go?
Do not forget- it does not run on full Android Oreo, hence 1GB RAM is enough for smooth operations

You need something with more RAM for Pokemon Go, this phone will bearly run in
I stuffed Android 9 Pieface ota on mine, when had one for testing, v1.08c, flew like a train, regardless of 1gb memory!

Great phone for £99, let alone the £65 quid it is in this deal

The 8gb internal memory would get full pretty easily no ? Can you store apps on a memory card ?

It’s Android Go though which is different and very lightweight to the normal Android you’re thinking of. So you can’t write this phone off quite so quickly. Any other time, yes, 2GB is the minimum really for full Android and 3-4GB is ideal.

Yep, will be hitting (in my humble opinion!) over $3,000,000,000 (yep that's billions!) in total takings by the end of the year and will only get more users playing it (even again maybe!) when the big boys start all the marketing and adverts for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games next year!

Got to be pushing 175 million users I would have thought!

You will require a device with 3gb ram as a minimum these days, it will run with 2gb ram but it is a painful experience.

Even then, playing on Honor 7, Kirin 920 device with 3GB of RAM is just about playable (and I'm really not fussy).

Buying this device to play Pokémon Go would be a disappointing experience I expect
I like the design of this Nokia, the orange details are cool

Just a little OT: Do you guys think that Nokia will be on the top as it was in the past?
Just levelled up to level 40 last week , wife and son play gets them out of the house

Will it do calls, txt, WhatsApp, chrome browser, Facebook and IG?
LOL is this 1GB RAM?
So is this phone better or worse than the Samsung A20e that could be had for £69 by the recently posted deal?
Thanks for posting @tyr we have added this to today's Highlights pages

Why would you throw a new mobile away? You could have returned it and argued not fit for purpose. Maybe given it to a charity shop, child or elderly relative.

He clearly has issues...
Android go or not with only 1gig or ram you are gonna be struggling. Chrome or Firefox browser with few tabs open which is a normal thing and >400mb taken, WhatsApp and 100taken, messenger lite 60megs.... You want to open YouTube lite and struggle really begins. What about txt message app, some widgets etc, you are at minus Gigabyte.....

Yeah, some marketers don't have the self-reflection at all. But it's their job to make the product looks good...
