I was going to put that the Nokia 2310 was free at Asda but some people would come back and say it is not free as you need to pay £20 for it.

However, you get £1 credit on the phone then once you register you get 4 x £5 top ups every 2 weeks until you have £20 credit on it.

It is basic but good for emergency phones, older people or kids. Its nothing techinical. I needed it for my mum as she cant hear her old phone. She doesnt text, she just calls people (ocassionally).

Nice lightweight phone. It is silver/pearl white colour. Has FM radio

Stop being pedantic!

I got this phone about a month ago and I must say, it is pretty good for the price, it even has snake

and cheapo phones seem to be in fashion around North and East London amongst all the scene kids, so quite a good offer..

Eeeek ....that's one ugly low-spec Nokia 2310.......but if it's technically free might be handy as a spare for someone !

also worth checking out shop.carphonewarehouse.com/pay…ed/

comes to 19 with phone and 10 pound cred

but you have more choice of network and dont have to wait for the credit for every 2 weeks

Can't find the phone for the price (only the £23.97 one) or any mention of the dalling credit. Anyone help?

If you have a number registered with VIRGIN, log-on to your account, go to CHECK THIS ACCOUNT, YOUR REWARDS, then BUY A PHONE. You can buy the phone (in white) this way for 9.99, plus 2.99 delivery = £12.98p. Go thru Quidco, and you get £8 back ( eventually). Virgin have many other PAYG phones, but I think this is the best deal. And T-Mobile cards also work in Virgin phones, beacause Virgin uses the same network.

Bought phone this way for my 13-year-old daughter. Looks very nice and works well. And if she loses it or gets 'taxed' (mugged - aaah, kids these days!) it costs little to replace.
