Thanks op
Reviews of it aren't brilliant but it would be a good back up phone.
it is £19, no top up needed on 02 website!!!
Camera 2 megapixel, Screen size 2.4 inch, Memory 128MB
Voted cold.

I know but i DO NOT know how to edit
Your better off using a couple of bean tins and a large roll of string, get a better reception
do you get a normal mains charger with this ??? and headphones
But are phones from O2 directly unlocked?

The dongle I bought from them wasn't.
I bought one for my mom. This is actually good little phone - please do not compare it to the today smartphones...
Of course it is worse then any other phone, but you'll make a phone call on this with no problems...
Are the 02 phones unlocked??
Anyone confirm this for sure??

just spoken with 02 "Yes, Nokia 3310 is locked with O2 network for 12 months however you can use any O2 sim card with it."
The last phone I bought direct from O2 on PayG was locked. I believe CPW phones are unlocked.
Good simple phone for small businesses.
How do you buy without buying a top-up voucher?

I work in the industry, I can confirm that Carphone Warehouse will not sell the phone to you without the sim for 19.99.!
Can you remove tag and correct subject if that's not sim free phone? Thanks!
wont let me buy keep getting red errors.
Just bought from website (O2). £19 as stated by OP. Did give me SIM card but topup not required. I bought another one from same shop (O2 store) and had to buy the topup. Needed it anyhow so no loss. Thanks. Great deal. Good backup/holiday phone. You do get official charger and headphones in box. No memory card.

If you buy it online, no top up required.

If you buy it in store, £10 top up required.

Take care.
Are these phones any good?

All CPW phones are unlocked are they not?

Yes (formally).

And no (as in not anymore ... )

Sadly, they're allllll locked to whichever Network you choose as taking your fancy basically? (eg. if bought with EE SIM, then the Phone will be locked to EE instead, etc?).

Lack of 'competition' for CPW (eg. no more Link, no more Phones4U, etc etc), has allowed them to do their customers in this way out simply?.

Back in the day I'd be hammering out unlocked Phone's across the board between all 3 of them!. :-D

But not anymore ...

Network Three (3 Network) Network's Phone's are allllllll unlocked now though? (they formally never used to be, lol).

If anyone's interested?. :-)

It's like going back in time, the 80's or something? (before I was even old enough to have Phone ... )

But you get the picture.

Love these types of Phone's, hehehehehe.
Bought one before Christmas from O2 Store for £19.99 and it was UNLOCKED, all sealed box by Nokia, not touched by O2

Nice!.

Was that via O2 online?.

Or via O2 in person though?.

Do you recall?. :-)

I bought an O2 phone on contract last week from CPW and it seemed work fine with a Three sim. Although if it gets locked to the first sim that I put in the phone then I'll be b*ggered. I have't tested with any other sim. Is that what you mean?
Would amazon not price match?

On a similar note to the 1 month thing you stated.

Just over 2 year's ago, I bought a few Nokia 105's under the same pretext of them stating upto a 35 day standby time on them, etc? (after having initially read about them via a Daily Mirror Newspaper double spread article of on 'Techie' stuff's just 2-3 month's before, etc? (so I obviously kept my eye's peeled out for such, for the if/when 'moment', and such?).

At that particular time, Phones4U were still operational (The Link wasn't), but both CPW, and Phones4U were then doing mostly unlocked Phones at the time.

So I was curious to see as to which of the 2 big Chain Store's would drop that Nokia 105 in first (if at all?, lol).

I obviously held out for both doing so, because that would have obviously meant a pricing war between the 2 for sure! (but sadly it was not to be, hehehe).

Only CPW decided to stock them for whatever reason? (and for more than 1+ years, before Phones4U inevitably went under, that also unfortunately remained the quota).

Then the backend of last year sometime, CarPhoneWarehouse released a Nokia 105 (2017) version also ...

(It's supposedly meant to be superior to the one's I bought about 1.5 year's prior, but looking at the specs in one of their Store's between what this newer one has over my older versions of the exact same thing, I personally don't see it?).

The Nokia 105 did retain it's legendary lengthy amount of day's standby time though ... though I think the initial 35 day's standby, has since dropped to just 30 day's standby instead though?.

If I remember correctly?, it was in November/December 2017 I checked those specs still, lol, so I could be a little off with those statistics? (as I've not bothered to check upon it again since ... )

In a nutshell - yep!.

Locked, locked, locked to whatever SIM you initially introduce to it, and/or initially feed it with, etc, etc, etc ... :-(

But saying that, Network Three, AND O2 bounce off of the same Mask's these day's anyway?, so if it's between those 2 Networks you have it in mind to play with, then you're more than just ok? (as they're essentially the 'same' anyway?).

But if after it's 'locked' to say Three/O2, you then have in mind to introduce to it EE, T-Mobile, or Orange, or whatever? (you'll then find that you may then become royally unstuck ... ) :-(

Bare that in mind?.

*** Edit. ***

I just remembered, O2 unlock their Contract Phone's for their customers for FREE anyway?. :-)
You'll unfortunately have to wait 12 months first, to be able to benefit from that golden nugget though?. :-(

Gone are the day's where a lot of the Networks were generically giving out such freebies as unlocked across the board as 'standard'?.

Other than Network Three Network, I believe that only Vodafone give their Contract Phone's as 'unlocked as standard' across the board now?.

Network Three though goes one better, in that even their Pay & Go Phone's are unlocked as standard also!.

All the other major 'players' out there (as a general rule of thumb), lock allllllll their stuff's as standard now ... :-(

Hahahahahahahahaha, if only?, looooooooool.

Amazon have been known to price match a few Curry's/PC World stuffs in the past (which is what CarPhoneWarehouse essentially is now anyway?).

So who knows?. :-D

It's a 'Dumb Phone's, designed to take us wayyyyy back to the early 2000's? - as in 2001/2002? - pre 'Smart Phones', etc? (so what you expect ... ) lol. :-)

I made a reservation and paid £19.99 online but went instore and they didn't have it for some reason, then went to a different store and they had 1 in stock but wanted to pay £10 topup making it £29.99, went online and paid £19.99 again to reserve in second store and got it right away.
