unless you plan on using video calls or 3g features like modem or data get the 5530 or 5800 which both have wi-fi this doesnt

not voted cold tho!

If you're on a data plan, then lack of wi-fi is not such a big issue.

fyi: Play.com are selling this phone for £109 (locked to T-Mobile)

the 5530 looks better (wifi and much cheaper) on paper

Been looking into this all day, £99 at Woolies with Vodafone. I like the 3g and the extra screen size over the 5530 and you can get the OVI maps for free as well from Nokia.

Downside is the camera and wifi

If people reading this thread are considering this phone then I would seriously suggest you take the SIM free Nokia Store option with cashback as it is the most hassle free way unless you are on that particular carrier. I have just bought a 5230 locked to Vodafone from Very and, because it is the latest Nokia BB5 SL3 phone, no-one appears to have a reasonably priced unlock solution for it. None of the sensible high street unlockers will currently go near it as none of their "cables" will work with it. If you look for "DM3 unlock" on the internet there is a solution out there but it is not cheap and you will most likely have to send your phone off to be unlocked. The only current solution is to purchase a network unlock code (NUC) from your carrier. Vodafone charges £20. Please don't try the free Nokia NUC generators on the internet as these do not work and you only get 3 unlock attempts on this phone before you see the dreaded "not allowed" error message.
