I mistook hd+ to mean full hd. I guess with all the competition, I just …I mistook hd+ to mean full hd. I guess with all the competition, I just expect every new phone to have full HD as standard.

My kids still haven't noticed that I downgraded Netflix to SD yet. I think once you are past a certain point screen resolution is barely noticed in day to day use.

Why are the designers conspiring to make "Nokia" phones as fugly as …Why are the designers conspiring to make "Nokia" phones as fugly as possible? The first lot of pretend Nokia's weren't too bad, I had a 5 and got my parents a 3 and a 1. Then they added that hideous chin with the logo on it. Now that ridiculous camera setup. Just take a Nokia 8 sirocco body and put decent hardware in it, or better still a Lumia 930...Sad times

Hideous? It looks pretty innocuous to me.

Undoubtedly the better option for longer support, but Amazon returns and chat are so easy to deal with, I'd rather buy from Amazon personally.

But to each their own of course.

watching a movie yes, reading text on a phone or monitor that is close to you, you will definitely notice pixel density in the 240-350 ppi range.

I guess so, but if your current device has a FHD screen why downgrade. It's become a common feature among the affordable chinese phones, for me anyway its essential.

@MrSwitch best mobile for around 150 to 180 Mark. A friend was looking at a used P20 pro for 150? What you reckon should he get that or something midrange but new? He needs a decent ish camera and good battery and good loud speaker for calls as he uses his phone as a phone god forbid. I would have told him to get the nova 5t from o2 PAYG but sold out so he is looking around what you think? The mate 10 pro from cex is also available for 130 grade b so he doesn't mind used. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ohh and his current phone oneplus 5t

I think you're going the right way if he wants a top camera at a low price, going for a previous flagship is the way forward

If you can wait for an eBay code, the mate 20 pro gets to around that price.
