What do we have this evening, we have a classic little number, sexy little feature phone with NFC, 5000mAh Battery, and rocket launchers
(disclaimer: this may not actually have a 5000mAh Battery)

  • Design: With easy to use buttons, smooth curves and a comfortable grip, Nokia 5310 gives an iconic design a fresh face
  • Music and Radio: Stay tuned all day with the MP3 player and wireless FM radio, which are controllable via the dedicated music buttons
  • Power to Connect: The big 1200 mAh battery delivers up to 22 days standby time, bringing everyday reliability and durability
  • Powerful Sound: Hear every call loud and clear with the dual front-facing speakers
  • Display: See what’s playing at a glance with the clear, curved display and let your music flow with a phone that's designed to keep up with the rhythms of your day

Never miss a beat with the Nokia 5310. You can mix it up anytime, anywhere, thanks to the MP3 player and wireless FM radio with dedicated music buttons and powerful dual front-facing speakers. The speakers get as loud as 105 phones, producing enough sound to fill the room. There's no need for headphones either, simply switch on your phone and listen. You can load your favourite songs onto a 32 GB memory card and enjoy them wherever you go and you can easily flick between radio stations, skip songs or adjust the volume using the dedicated music buttons - so you never have to miss a beat. Nokia 5310 has a elegantly rounded design, curved display glass and keypad, making it great to hold and ideal to carry. The elegant and clean numeric keypad, 5-way navigation key and the highly praised Nokia featurephone operating system deliver an easy to use and feature rich interface. That's not all, you now have the power to stay connected with a battery that lasts for up to 22 days in standby mode or hours of calls without charging. Nokia 5310 won't let you down

What does that mean?!?
Is this the Nfc version?.
Perfect for my 89 year old mum to take 25 minutes a go to send a text

When I had my Trium Mars and then Nokia 3310 we used to send SMS to each other and enter a number and dial people....... This looks far too modern!!!
Good if you're considering opening a phone museum.

I remember on the old Nokia 3210 on Orange we were able to call our voicemail for free. You could then record a message and send it to another contact through voicemail , they could then add to the voicemail and send it back all without using your credit! Useful back in 1999 when I was at uni

I have a museum in my spare room
Not voted. Not an iPhone

I've added some heat, someone must still use these or they wouldn't bother and £29 seems decent. I've still got an original iPhone that's probably got more specs than this!

Depends on your use case.

Personally I find this one better for masonry but the iPhone can handle softwood nailing.

Just what I was thinking
MrSwitch17/06/2020 19:01

Cool, bought 8 for ebay?

I'm not a fan of eBay, too much of a headache.

Might treat my dad for Father's day.

He has a burner phone at the moment.
While there are valid use cases for a basic 2G phone, especially a dual SIM one, I don't get why you'd spend this much when you can get something equivalent for half the price

Nostalgia sells
I’m tempted to get this just for the nostalgia hit but I’ll resist to prefer more eventual landfill...

Plus I’m not endorsing any of MrSwitch’s deals until I get my Xiaomi pen
