Nokia 6 (2017) CPW (Cheapest since Christmas) - £155.49 @ CPW

I'm posting this deal to correct a deal submitted suggesting the phone can be had from £79.99, it cannot. The cheapest option is to get with a one month sim deal.

Note: this isn't the cheapest price ever for this phone, and in about a month the 2018 version will be released.

P.s. this is great phone and totally worth £155.49 regardless of the above.

Haven't looked into the Honor, I've had hands on experience with the Nokia 6 and the build quality is first class.

If I had the choice between the two. I would go for the honor 9 lite. Specswise the Honor is better. Better processor, dual camera, bt 4.2, weaker GPU though (but still decent), no gyro though? If you're into VR, you'll need the gyro.

Both are have good builds.
Had this phone a week...
Paid £109 for a pristine refurbed one from Laptops direct and basically was just an open boxed return.
All unopened accessories and immaculate phone.
The aluminium unibody gives it a very premium feel, was concerned by the processor and thought might just be a stop gap phone, but had no issues.
Works great, no stuttering and all the main apps work a treat.
(However I'm not a gamer, but have over 100 apps installed!)
If you want a near pure Android Experience and fast updates this is the phone to go for, on a budget.
Screen is great and camera great for a budget/mid priced phone! (Better than my late Redmi Note 4X, my insurance company wrote off due to shattering screen. )
Only slow down I can find is the camera, takes 2-3 seconds for camera app to open, but once it's open, no issues.

It was quite a lot cheaper back at Christmas and 2018 version out soon, I'd expect it to drop more again very soon. Equally the 2018 version looks like a big step up if you have the money when it comes out.

So confused now, was intending to get this, then the 2018 version released, then the 7 plus then the 8! No idea what to get now

My advice is get a stop gap phone until 2019 when under screen fingerprint scanners will be the norm (rear scanners are annoying for phones sat on a desk).

I am happy to do that, but still can't decide which of the current/new line up to pick until then. What ever I pick I will probably only keep it a year
Totally personal depending on wealth and use, but what meant is spend the minimum to get just enough for your needs. For me, that precludes buying any of the new line up. I couldn't justify more than £150, but that'll give me an excuse to spend more next year. What ever anyone gets now just make sure it has 32gb or more internal storage - it literally the main reason I'm upgrading my phone - putting apps on sd is the worst experience and so it trying to cull stuff. Peace.
Anyone manged to get this to upgrade to 8.0? Thanks

Nothing special, and it's not carrier specific. Just connect to WiFi and check for update.
Hmmm done that and no update Can I ask which network you are with Thanks
Sim card is giff gaff, phone from cpw so sim free.
You can usually get these things done by wire if OTA isn't finding anything.
