This is from carphone warehouse, This is the best price at the minute even compared to the likes of gearbest of this world. This is for the 32gb version.
I think this is a cracking deal and it is only for a limited time, so grab it while it's hot.
  • 5.5-inch Full HD display
  • 16MP camera
  • 32GB internal storage
  • Available in matte black, tempered blue, silver

I paid 134.99 for base + 1 month rolling contract which I cancelled, also now received my £50 TCB making the handset £85

P.S the phone was not locked specifically to the contract I chose

So you don't have to pay for a month's contract?

As soon as you receive the phone you ring and cancel contract, only paying for the first month as you've given them 30 days notice from that point.

So how essentially £85? Did you pay £135, plus x amount for 30 days then 50 from tcb?
Quite cold... New version with a lot better CPU coming.

Hence the price? No. Still a good deal at this price, just as the htc u ultra has been replaced, but is now £299, that is still a good deal.
did the TCB paid out?

So you must have paid for at least a month's contract so couldn't have worked out at £85?

Also, I csn imagine that tcb would have paid out, if they cancelled on the first day of getting the phone, maybe I'm wrong and they will correct me.

Base price at the time was 119 and the 1 month rolling contract was £15, the cashback paid out in less than 4 weeks.

It is dual SIM, but one SIM goes in place of the Micro SD card. So you can use 1 SIM plus a memory card, or 2 SIMs without a memory card.

I have been looking for an average priced phone and this deal seems like the right one. If I buy this on Payg will I still get £50 tcb ?

So I need to order on pay monthly then cancel contract??

There is the option of buying the handset for an upfront fee, with a 1 month contract, as soon as you get the sim, ring up and cancel.
Thank you

Go to the Nokia 6's monthly tariffs and scroll down to the filters to see the "contract length", click on 1 (1 month) and you are done

The best one seems to be £15 30 day with Vodafone with a £129.99 upfront payment so £144.99 all in
just returned mine as the atmos speaker was hissing, seems to be a common problem in you search for it. The new 2018 version should be with us soon as is a much better option if you can wait a while.
I was considering buying this as an 'inbetween' phone as it has so many positive aspects but the thing that eventually killed it for me was the processor.

IMO it'll be worth waiting for the 2018 version to release (assuming the price is ~£199) since the processor upgrade in that will effectively nullify the only criticisms this phone faced.

Of course, it depends how much you can afford and how long you can wait

Yeah, though recent reports suggest it could be quite a while before Nokia 6 2018 is actually available here. TechRadar says a "wider launch later in the year".

Really? That sucks. By all accounts that 2018 model seems to 'have it all' and I think could present a real challenge to the Xiaomi monopoly on these forums

Nokia 6 2017 was unveiled in January but wasn't available here until July/August. Don't know why it takes so long.
Hopefully it'll be sooner this year (though a Q1 or Q2 release looks unlikely) and they don't make it exclusive to Carphone Warehouse.

Thank you for the information but after reading it again I would only get £5 tcb on Payg ..... not £50 as I initially thought.
