This is the Nokia x6 for all other regions.

With android one on board.

Brilliant phone for such little money.

Bluetooth 5, oreo 8.1.

I can imagine this being a massive seller if its released in the UK.

Lists no band 20 in the specs, but has band 20 in the network compatability, so it's a little confusing.

Again, no warranty, well eglobal warranty, but probably not worth much.

I voted hot as I had many symbian Nokias in the golden days, however specs-wise it looks like similar to the Xiaomi Mi Note 5 AI (same SoC) but with a "standard" 3060 mAh compared to Xiaomi's 4000 mAh one. Of course,Nokia's built quality should be second to none plus Android one for updates are good things. If the camera would be as good as the Xiaomi Note 5 one then it would be a best buy for many..nevertheless, surely yet another solid Nokia.
Apparently no NFC?
Looks like an iPhone X.

Nokia as was don't make any phones any more. So build quality.... i don't own one so can't comment, but on the face of it there's no 'benefit' in buying Nokia if that's your expectation

I know what you mean, the "made in Finland stuff from Finnish engineers" thing or close to it.Nevertheless, the people at HMD follow the standards set by some ex Nokia's managers as far as I remember from some news.I don't expect my fridge from BOSCH being manufactured only in Germany. As long as it is made under BOSCH standards,I don't care if it is made in China or in Turkey at a VESTEL factory...or at HMD...I mean,it's engineered under BOSCH quality control,to me doesn't make any difference as long as it has its warranty and made as supposed to be. NOKIA might not be the old one, still, the new NOKIA is going into the right direction according to many users. Problems affect phones of every brand and Nokia has its share too, at the end it's down to expectations and needs.
Myself I'm after a new phone with a better camera compared to my "old" galaxy note 4 and the Nokia 7 Plus it's one of those in my list..within £300 of budget. Now the thing is "to eglobal or not to eglobal, this is the question..."
no UK band 20 800MHZ for 4G. Therefore cold

Have you read the op?

That is not actually confirmed, but thanks for the chill.
I was really interested in this - but still doesn't seem to be any info on when there will be a UK/Europe release.
No band 20 and NFC is a pain. May have to just go with the standard 6.1 for now - although the styling isn't as good.

Would love the Nokia 7 spec in this also - the 7 is just a bit too big.
This looks like the phone to replace my galaxy S5. I've been waiting for something similar size and weight but with a bigger screen and more modern specs.

NFC doesn't bother me.

But I'm on Sky Mobile (O2), and want to make sure I can just put the sim in and no issues. Would I get the same mobile internet speed as I do with the S5 or better, and no issues connecting to home Wi-Fi?

I'm a bit dubious getting a phone not made for the UK market but I not a heavy user (I've lost weight recently )

I'd hold off for now, as there is no confirmation that this phone has band 20.

Well colour me stupid, comment deleted!
Just to add, there are some listings on ebay for this phone and they say that OTA (over the air updates) won't work. Assume that it is outside of China.
So would hold off until they release a proper Android One version.

Nah, easy thing to do. There's ACTUAL stupid to be found elsewhere
Some sites say there is band 20. Can anyone confirm?
