Yes definitely

So if I buy one and it is not unlocked, is the OP willing to pay for unlocking? If not, and it cannot be guaranteed to be unlocked, then 'Unlocked' should be removed from the description.

I had monthly contract Blackberry 8520 from Virgin 2 years ago, open and used now on Tesco sim by a family member . I have Nokia 620 now and love it is also open . It has full Sat-Nav for car also separate system Sat-Nav for walking . It pinpoints your position gives surrounding shops and other information addresses and their telephone numbers and walking directions and if you like take good photos . The pinpoint marker dot moves when you move, like car marker for cars . I think it is almost impossible to get lost if you have one and know how to use it and it is pocket size plus you can use it to make phone calls .

sold out

I am sure with Virgin if you try your sim and it doesn't work then you can claim poor network signal and return it.
I would say if there is a delivery charge it should be included in the cost.

It's Windows 8, so Microsoft won't let it wither on the vine despicably like 7.5 (unlike IOS and Android) until....Windows 9 comes out.

I'm sure if we all club together we can pay for you to have an education in manners, or simply just an education would be a start. I would contribute but I don't invest in lost causes, so for that reason I'm out.

Because originally, the description stated 'Unlocked', which was not guaranteed, later, it was edited to 'Possibly unlocked' which is a more accurate description.

This might be too advanced for you, but here's a beginners guide, you should have the right hand skills though >

That's one of the problems with education, if pupils miss the first half of the term, they only receive half of the knowledge, but some of them still think they know it all. See post #35

Also Nokia Drive + with world wide maps, 520 comes with maps for 1 country only unless you pay an extra £34.99 I think it was.

I doubt they'll be updated when WP-NINE comes along, which was my point. NOT that 8 goes to 8.1. 7.5 went to 7.8 and no further

Probably not as WP9 is a long way off, what you said was "you've got less than a year" for that update which isn't true. 8.1 is the next major revision for the OS and will be out around the spring of 2014. WP9 won't be along until at least 2015.

7.5 only went to 7.8 because of the kernal change, something that won't be happening now that Windows Phone is on NT not CE.
