This offer works by cashback which you claim from Phones4U at specified intervals. You have a massively generous 60 days to send the claim. You must have paid each bill in its entirety, so please only use this deal if you can afford to pay the bills on time and remember to keep on top of the cashback. Use recorded delivery when sending the claims, or better still - special delivery with consequential loss cover. Phones4U are a large high street firm, and are fairly reliable when it comes to cashback.

**Remember to decline/cancel the insurance that they try to give you as it can be very expensive!!**

With a whopping £50 cashback when you purchase via QuidCo.com, a great tariff and a cool 60 days to send in your claim, you can actually make a profit on this deal!!

This deal is tipped to end at the end of this month (or when they run out of stock, which usually happens first), so you'll need to be pretty snappy.

Has it been sent yet? You could always try calling Phones4U and asking if they'll let you have this offer...

Very good...!

So is this really as simple as filling in a form that arrives after you've signed up and, quote:

?

It all sounds great, but being a poor, helpless student I'm terrified of being hit with any charges due to me overlooking something.

Looks like there's been a lot of success with these on here.

I assume Phones4U/Voda/whoever can't turn around and mess with the cashback TOS during the course of the contract?

Apologies for newbie Q's.

Back on form in true style ducky!

Do these come locked to vodafone?

Simple as that.

Good reliable company, they can't/won't change the t&c's.

I don't think so, apparently Vodafone unlock for free now anyway.

I can only post good deals when a company makes them available.

Just placed an order :w00t:

Ordered the £25/month contract with 150texts, now kind of wishing i order the one with 500 texts @£30/month :-D Oh well.

Thanks OP.

I have had a few contract phones from p4u and they have all been unlocked.

I want to order this but will be moving house in 3 months' time. Does a change of address invalidate the cashback contract at all, or can you keep claiming reagrdless of your contact address?

Cheers!

Quidco didn't track me last time when I made order on Phones4U... has anyone experienced the same thing?

I'm pretty sure at the bottom of the claim form there is a section for if you've changed your address. I'd make sure that they know just in case they're going to send the form to the wrong address.

Can you not put a claim in for it?

If you don't need the handset then don't forget that www.cex.co.uk give rates better than the rate these go for on Ebay...

100% correct, just checked one of my claim forms for another cashback with p4u and as Benjimoron has written - there is a address/details update section you can fill in.

That is if they have any cash.

Nervously last year I went for one of these deals.

Everything went okay for me. All 4 cashbacks paid.

Waiting on the sim only deal to pass the magic 4 months (quidco then pays out) then hopefully one of these offers will be about.

All good with phones4u.

i love vodafone....i got a 12 month contract with 700 mins 250 texts, 40 quid a month 12 months free with phones 4u after 2 months i rang them up to get more texts and they gave me 900 mins unlimited texts for 45 quid a month....meant to be an 18month tariff but the guy was really nice and gave me the extra....suppose it makes sense for them as now they will make some money out of me and im happy cos i got a good deal !!! hooray

Anyone manage to find out if these plans have the free unlimted internet usage.

I'm not sure if they do. Vodafone have unlimited internet as a £5/month add-on...

Anyone know if Vodafone charge to access voicemail?
Also, how do you check how many minutes and texts you have left? Do they charge for that as well?
Thanks.

Cheers ducky. Voted hot.

I'm looking at it now, but I cant see all the phone tariff options you put in the first post

phones4u.co.uk/sho…072

I'd probably go for this one if I could see it. I only want a 12 month contract though, definitely not 18 months

Anytime Text 30 has an initial outlay of £30 per month, and offers 150 anytime, any network minutes and 500 text messages per month

does anyone have the link for the above tariff? I'll do it through quidco when I can find where to look for the right one

Gah if only I was 18

Would even give me a credit rating as well

Looks like a good deal but quidco isn't tracking phones4u at the mo.I got a phone from them 4 weeks ago, have submitted an enquiry and still nothing, so don't rely on the quidco :whistling:

Quidco did not track for me either, so I put in an enquiry. It is a SureShop so they should pay out...

Have people who ordered last time got their first redemption form yet, as I have not had mine?

Benjimoron;3054406

Simple as that.Good reliable company, they can't/won't change the t&c's.

My girlfriend used to work for phones4you, and they are the most dishonest people ever. They basically encourage staff to oversell phones with big contracts and high tariffs to elderly or disabled people, because they know that they tend not to complain. To meet monthly quotas they also renew peoples contracts without the customer knowing or even being informed (fraud).

They used to sell their own home phone lines, and get people to switch from BT/whoever when they signed mobile phone contracts by not telling them they were doing it.

They also upgraded elderly customers monthly tariffs by impersonating them on the phone.

Needless to say, I hate this company.

[email protected], I just went for the 6300 12 mont contract, 11 months free, 700 mins and 250 texts + £50 quidco. Only £10 profit there ... am tempted to go for one of these. Can I cancel ??

BTWm my quidco tracked fine ... about 20 mins after transaction. Ordered two and they BOTH tracked !

my contract doesnt run out for a month, do you think this deal will still be about then, or should i go for it now and just run two contracts for a month?

Quite right. Just had to cancel my order as they do not port to Vodafon for web orders.

If you want to port your number, just call the vodafone network directly when you receive the phone.

Has any1 else transferred their number successfully?

This was my gut reaction too. If Phones4u can't arrange it, surely you can arrange it yourself?

However, wouldn't they then say that this invalidates the cashback agreement?

That doesn't change the fact that for most people they are reliable. I had a similar deal to this last year and all the cashback was paid without hassle. Plus, if you hate the company, signing up to this deal will lose them money...

Vodafone won't port a number onto an existing contract - thats why phones-4-u don't offer it for vodafone but they do on the other networks. I have no idea why though (its not because they can't do it - I had a number ported onto my 30 day contract).

When you submit earnings enquiry through Quidco, be sure to include the e-mail address you provided Phones4U with, on top of the normal customer ID, transaction ID.
I've got a reply from Quidco asking me about this.

I have had a lot of trouble getting Vodaphone to unlock one of their ex contract phones,
anyone got any advice?
They emailed and said they need verification from the person who owned it last, and they are not contactable, also I requested a PAYG sim and they havent sent that either!
thanks
