I think this is a great deal for those who want a pretty good contract but are skeptical about sending in cashback claims (which seem to be getting rarer by the day anyway).

e2save are offering the following:
Nokia 6300 Xbox 360 Arcade £150 auto-cashback for £35 per month on a 12 month contract
02 400mins 500 texts

So after auto-cashback, it works out as £270 for the term (£220 with quidco), an average of £22.50/pm (£18.33/pm after quidco).

So given that an Xbox 360 arcade is around £120 and the phone is about £50, you're paying £100 or less for the actual contract.

Phones pants but nice deal

Thanks OP, I’ve finally found myself an O2 deal that suits me thanks to following yours.
It’s a Nokia 7500 on O2 400/500 mins/texts at £10.83 per month after a single Auto cashback of £290; you can also get the Nokia 6300 and Sony Ericsson S500i on the same deal and they’re all new. They also have loads of other phones with the same deal many of which are clearance and almost all on O2.

The term cost is £420
After Cashback = 420 – 290 = £130
After Quidco = 130 – 50 = £80
After selling phone = 80 – 70 = £10

I’m happy with that as there’s a single auto-cashback after 90 days and I don’t fancy the CPW subsidiaries for cashback even though I rate CPW itself as excellent for cashback.

Looks good Agharta, and as theres a 7500 on ebay for £70 with 5 hours left, it could be possible to make a profit on that...

I made £73 pure profit on the phone so the whole term is costing me £7 with a single auto-cashback to collect; I'm happy with that.

They’ve reduced the cashback on the 400 minute contracts by £60 now but the 200 minute contracts are still pretty good for auto-cashback deals especially if using Quidco.
I paid £10 more for the whole term for my 400 minute deal than the current cost of the 200 minute deal so I think I got in at the right time.

I went for the Sony Ericsson S500i in the end and the £290 auto-cashback cheque arrived today which is only 6 weeks after taking out the contract and not the 90 days that was suggested. I received a text last week from the CPW confirming the cashback so all together it’s been a simple way to get a decent 400 minute 12 month contract for £7 in total. Very pleased.

They still have similar auto cashback deals for various phones and networks but Orange have the best deals at the moment - e2save.com/fre…ant
