Whats better, this or the w810i?

I have W810i and 6300... and will recommend both :-D

Nokia 6300 is slim & stylish with stainless steel body. SE W810i is small & stylish and is a walkman handset with customised music keys. Camera quality (2MP) is excellent in both models.

Personally speaking, the W810i. You can use ANY headphones you want, (3.5mm adapter on headphone lead), hot swapping of memory card, (you need to remove the back & the battery to get to the card on the 6300), autofocus on the W810i & mega bass on the walkman software, I've not heard the 6300 come anywhere close on sound & the software too "seems" to make more sense than the nokia...all the above is opinion though.

this phone is ace i have one, easy to use etc, great price too for the features

i have 6300, great phone, but have found battery life to be really poor, not sure if it's just me, but couple of people have mentioned it on previous threads too. If you are heavy user, could be a problem...

That's a shame, it's one area that Nokia is usually very strong on.

Please note, these usually don't come unlocked and these phones are virtually impossible to unlock on the high street.

Only the network provider can supply you with the code and this usually costs in excess of £20, (Virgin provide it free if you have used or topped up more than £30 on your sim).

They do come unlocked btw ask any branch will tell you the same

The 6300 has been at this price for a couple of weeks - got one when they dropped to this price.

You CAN hotswap the card as you don't have to remove the battery.

Great phone - battery life is about normal (4 days of light use with occasional bluetooth). Very neat design, great menus and beautiful screen. I think it comes down to personal preference - whether music or neatness is your thing.

Fantastic deal, I work in CPW and we sold out of these today @ this price.

Fully unlocked sim-free versions they are

I have one and its a beautiful phone, nothing is as well made and 'special' feeling as a 6300 this side of a sirrocco!

USUALLY...

I stand corrected

Now £10 quidco paying on o2/orange.

Brilliant deal. Just ordered one

You can get these instore, £110 BUT with only £10 credit as opposed to £20. You have to pay by card for some weird reason. On 02 and unlocked.

Quidco only tracked at £5.. anybody know whether this will change or should I submit an enquiry?
