Sorry Im A Bit Confused

with respect SpiceHut, how have you managed 84 posts on here without coming across Quidco?!

Try ]http//ww…com

It means basically you get paid £30 to take this deal, as a form of 'cashback'

Oh Lol Thanks, I Have Come Across It Many Times, But I Never Understood What It Ment, So Thanks For Letting Me No What It Means, So Basically, Quidco Mens Getting A Sum Of Cash Back.

Exactly.

If you do some searching on it you'll see that it's fairly good, not always reliable (ie don't count on receiving the £30) though I've had only positive experiences with it. Great for things like insurance, where you can get £50-100 from some providers. My uncle once got paid £80 twice (an error) for a £150 policy. Quids in! There are probably hundreds of Quidco threads on here.

This is a good deal btw - wont suit everyone due to 100mins/texts and no internet but is great for the price with a decent phone (have the 5800 and like it very much)

Great deal but with basket still saying 69-99 for phone maybe a lot of peple will vote this cold.
Will keep an eye on this because if they drop the price to what you say its an excellent deal m8:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Cheers + REP

Great Find - but .......

phoned them up and they said that the offer for the 5800 was available - "only while stocks last" and now they are charging £69.99 for the phone rather than giving it for free as they advertised.

This really stinks - how many "free" phones do you think their "stocks" comprised of?

Quidco tracked for me then was declined without explanation so I wouldn't rely on it....

Great deal - the phone on it's own is worth £160 to £180.
Ordered one...... thanks:)

I think it is possible to get the Quidco by buying online then when you get the phone phone give Virgin a ring letting them know you are a Virgin media customer and you get 2 months free, possible saving of £50.

Certainly worth a go as it doesn't say new customers only on the Cashback sites.

Thanks OP for keeping track.

Have ordered one for DD - GREAT deal.

Bought a PAYG one for myself 3 months ago for £180.

You could use that cashback to buy ]this book.

The 5800 is a great phone, it's just had a software upgrade to make it slicker.

Ordered this last night....phone has good reviews and for a tenner a month (for a light user) is well worth it. Got mine online but had to phone their customer sevices to complete the transaction. They then offfered me more handsets for friends and family.

Virgin had the same deal on the 5530 last month.

But which is best 5800 or 5530 ?

Sounds like 5800 is being discontinued whereas 5530 is staying for now but does that mean that is 5530 is better?

Think the website's crashed, trying to order one for my wife, good deal for her as a light user, she spends about that on PAYG and would get much more in terms of texts etc.

Thanks. Rang up in the end, the lady went through everything and then said she would have to ring back within an hour as their system was down. Obviously this deal has crashed everything!
