£90 cashback by redemption and £40 Quidco will bring it down to £134.24 at the end of the contract if you keep on top of things.
The deal without cashback still seems pretty decent as the phone is around £200.

2months, VAT reverts back to 17.5% so £15 really, 18x£15 = £270 paid, £230 after Quidco, £120 after redemption is nice mind but only for those who will send in their claims properly otherwise great deal for low users, only question mark is over this retailer, i;ve never heard of

Thanks!Didn't know that! so an extra £5.12 over the 18 month contract.

1st off, I'm not attacking this deal but have to ask a question to you all.

What do people see in these phones that make them so desirable? I ask because it looks almost identical to a 6300 which you can get for about £50. I used to have a Nokia 8800 (I was given it off a friend) and after about 10 minutes couldn't understand why people were paying £200+ for it because the software reminded me of Nokia's old 3310!!

So what it the appeal?

I had a 6300 a couple of years ago and must say after seeing this 6700 for the first time during the week in an o2 shop that it doesn't bear much resemblence to the 6300.
GPS with nokia maps and a 5mp camera are just a couple of extras this has over the 6300.

VAT reverting back to 17.5% is correct but not for sure. Govt may increase that too....some reports coming in claim VAT is going to climb to 19%...now the question is if network chooses to pass on the vat difference to customers then probably you may pay more too....

Generally speaking you are right, real evolution doesn't occur every new model but every 3rd or 4th and even then it's not properly implemented so you need to wait for the 5th sometimes.

I;ve handled the 6300 it's a nice little phone, alot more 20th century than the 21st century 6700, if you are happy with the 6300 aesthetics/size etc, no need for a new phone, but if you want a nice new smaller very nice functional phone, especially in chrome, this is very bling and nice to use
