Who the hell are Toby Deals?

Our Address

Is this site trustworthy, heard it mentioned a few times lately but never heard much about it.
Just waiting for the "it's got no warranty/it's from china" gang to turn up.

Heat from me though
Same price at EGC & I'd get it from there as 6-8 day delivery time & from a Euro warehouse, so no tax / duty to pay (the Xiaomi Mi A1 I bought a few months back arrived factory-sealed in 6 days): eglobalcentraluk.com/nok…tml

Also, 3.5% cashback via TCB (~£9.45): topcashback.com/egl…al/

Pay with a credit card (or at least PayPal) for the best cover.
Such a good price.
I dont need one till September, so hoping for a uk price drop and maybe a 15% off ebay.com deal.
where you change your uk address well the uk bit to USA and order from a uk seller.
Crooks had issues with my device I got from them. Contacted them and they never responded.

I've bought from these in the past, received in a week without a hiccup, I'd recommend them.
Only negative people leave negative reviews.
I got this on contract and it cost me effectively £200 if you include the cost if Google home mini and TCB.

I used to think that way, until I bought around 5 phones from these guys you mentioned, and have only paid customs once (aliexpress)
I tend to stick with Toby deals etc now, as they come at most times, a week or two.

Ahh the toby joke, well done.
Good price but ao.com are doing this for £329 and you can get a £20 new customer discount plus as its the official UK model you get a warranty plus a free Google home mini worth £40. So if you want the mini it works out the same price as this

Customs fraud is fraud like any other - not something I'd brag about publicly.

The one time I paid customs was with aliexpress shipping from China, and i was happy to pay it, the rest came from an EU warehouse, so I wouldn't say I've committed fraud.
Maybe ask a few more questions and get your facts straight before throwing out wild accusations?
Good for you. I will probably buy some redmi phones from them who were not released in UK but better to buy new phones from uk sellers because it give you manufacture warranty and buyers rights protected..i even got some used phones from ebay who i managed to replace from google and samsung because they were still under warranty

We cannot blame buyers as all of us want a bargain price. Its fraud from company side as they often send it gift or pretend that they have warehouse somewhere in EU to avoid customs..they know buyers buy from them for cheap prices and if buyers pay custom on top of price then they will not bother importing from china

The buyer is legally liable in the UK.

Thanks @APPLE-SAM explained it.
For those interested in the white UK version:

Following up on Mrswitch's deal I checked with AO and they "are unaware at this point if we will be getting the Nokia 7 Plus in white and only selling the Black one at the moment"
hotukdeals.com/dea…973

Also checked with Nokia.com online support and sadly they "don't have that information available" to say when the white version will be available in the UK.

That one won't qualify for the free Google Mini as it's from Spain rather than UK.

If you were desperate for a white version, then that would be the way to go currently. I'm not particularly bothered about the mini, but to each their own.

I'm in no rush to get a new one so can be patient.

As doobreedob said this deal works out about same as (your) AO deal with Google Mini but some of us might prefer the white one and at same time get a free Google mini hence why I got in touch with AO and Nokia re UK version and thought it worthwile sharing their feedback.

At the end of the day it's about maximising the deal as each sees fit.

Just for fun I used Mrswitch's link and added one Nokia 7 Plus to the cart, then typed in WELCOME6 in the box below Grand Total and hit "APPLY COUPON" then "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT" and my order summary showed a grand total of £263.99. Can then checkout as a guest and looks like the code remains valid.

Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything so re-did it this time with my specs on and got same result
