Their feedback on eBay is decent (98.7%) considering the volume (over 36k). I ordered a 'customer returned' Chromebook off them this week, typing on it now. Excellent like new condition as expected, looked like it was originally Argos stock due to a sticker on the box. These phones are also described in the same way, e.g. “These units are customer cancelled order returns which will have had very little use and are as new".

Great phone at a great price here, thanks OP. Android One should see this get at least Android 10 and another ~2 years of security updates.

If you read thread provided, you'll realise you've been lucky

All used items are customer returns these days, new standard emerging in the industry...

Btw, sales volume of this seller low, compared to others; I personally don't deal with less than 99% positive feedback (learnt hard way)

I have this phone...paid £135 new. Great phone for the money. Decent camera. Battery life not the best but does have fast charge.

Seen the thread, agree not good there. However, I'd tend to take their overall eBay score over one deal thread here - not defending them in that case. Agree there's some risk for buyers here, but I'd probably take it based on the feedback and the price of this handset.

Your thread does not cover all 36107 items sold by this company and 98.7% positive overall is not to be sniffed at.

All eBay companies receive bad feedback and there is always an element of small risk but this seller still receives high eBay ratings and has a track record of excellent service so unless those positive feedbacks left are fake...

In other words stop scare-mongering - if there any suspicions or issues with this seller, HUKD will intervene - i know how these things work as i have been around long enough on this site.

Fair enough, as member of HUKD I feel the duty to try to prevent fellow members having bad experiences with sellers advertising on the site (or being advertised).

It's not nice to get a damaged item passing as new or with little use, risk is relatively high with this seller as quoted thread shows

(Sorry about that OP)

If you have any issues with my comments, just report them properly to site staff and they will be dealt with accordingly

I they decide to take no action, then I'm doing a good job informing fellow users of the sad practices a few sellers employ. I wish reality was different

I can see where you're coming from, agree on the ethos of the community. However, I think it shows there was risk for phones sold as part of that deal, but of the 144 sold on eBay a small percent of HUKD buyers reported issues. Difficult to establish the overall numbers of course. I'd still think eBay feedback is surely the best aggregation of their performance, but as usual these days it's "buyer beware".
This is a really nice phone. I have one here now on test.

I don't need to report your comments.

As a site veteran, i can take notice and i respond to users myself and i will do the same with you.

Your thread does not represent the entire experience of 36000 users that have had a positive experience via this eBay seller. Fact.

Good job? Debateable.

My comment is still there. Try harder.
I've ordered from them twice. In both cases I was happy with my opened - as new items. People from xavierluther's thread had returned the items they were not happy with and I assume got their refunds. The best case scenario (and most probable judging by their ratings) you get the "as new" item at a very attractive price. The worst case scenario (and way less likely) is you'll lose some time sending the item back and waiting for your money back.

How do u get hukd to intervene? Will they assist with any dispute?

eBay and PayPal will assist you with any disputes. HUKD removes some of the threads based on the fact that the seller is not trustworthy. Like they did with my yesterday's deal from the same seller upon Xavier's intervention.
Is this android one and dual SIM
HUKD's primary concern is commission. Nothing wrong with that. But let's not overegg the ethos of the community malarkee.

You might be referring to my comment on the community. If so I was referring to the community as the members rather than the owners.
Love my Nokia 7.1 so much I got one for the wife. So much nicer than the moto z and moto g5 plus they replaced. Moto really have lost the quality since being purchased by Lenovo.
I have recently bought two of these from this company that were advertised as "new", "opened-never used".
Both phones had been used, but they were in perfect condition so I was happy to keep them I understand that others have not been as lucky so Xav is right to make everyone aware.
The company does provide excellent service so you can always send your phone back if you are not happy.
Incredible phone for the price, by the way, so HOT!
Just clocked the RRP on this - tempted.....
I like the phone but the many reports of charging port faults have put me off buying one sadly.

Everything else about the phone is spot on for the price. One of the few budget phones to have a decent enough camera and stable video. There's the g7 plus but battery is much worse than nokia 7.1, the g7 power has a rubbish cam. I've searched them all, oneplus, honor, xiaomi etc and have decided to see what comes out in the next few months with regards to the new xiaomi cam sensor or price drops on higher models.

gsmarena.com/com…821 I'd see it as a an upgrade. Released 2 years later, you'll be on Android Pie with it now and get Android 10 too. Spec. wise you could argue not a million miles apart, but overall experience would seem like an upgrade to me.
Thanks OP! Been looking for a decent Nokia deal for the missus. Spot on.

It just can't compare with S series, its Samsung peer would be from A series, 2018 models or this year's A40.

It'd be an upgrade over S7 only design-wise, 7.1 feels much more expensive than it is; S7's 2016 bezels feel today a long way in the past. Of course this would be more viable into the future because S7's software support is already at the end of the road, but hardware-wise S7 still much better.
How are the phones for those who have received them?
