Huawei Mate 20 Pro is flagship spec so that would definitely be best. Around this price you'd be looking at the Lite unless a refurb though.

Good spot Jazzy!
Great launch price
Isn't there meant to be a 6GB / 128GB version too?

I'm thinking of getting this as it looks to be the best phone within my budget that ticks the boxes.

Huawei mate 20 pro is better by far. How dare you compare it to this Nokia phone? 😜

There is definitely a 6GB version, not sure about the storage size or whether there'll be official UK stock though.

I'm surprised that Nokia hasn't really said anything since the initial announcement. The longer they delay, the more likely I'll change my mind!

Well, I completely disagree. Mate 20 pro is way more faster, yes the camera is better too and it has an oled screen. I have an Xperia XZ Premium, my wife has a Huawei p30 and the difference is huge in the Huawei's favour. The videos look crystal clear and the photos look like made by a professional photographer. Also way more faster...

There's no problem for a light or moderate user to have a better phone. And the price difference I think it says it all

I'm sure you'll love it. Also the mate 20 pro is not restricted by Google like the new mate 30, so that's a plus .

It does, basically you can save £100-200 if you're not a power user, or camera-mad

You're comparing a 2017 phone with a 2019 phone, what do you expect?

That said, XZP still holds its own pretty well

Not restricted by Google... for the moment, touch wood if Huawei/China keep playing nasty

(I'd be affected, so I hope they make up)

🧒 Don't have to be a power user to take better photos, videos or have sites popping up faster, watching videos on an oled screen.

I'm loving my phone. It's still fast enough, I have android 9 on it, it works well. But I'm super jealous of my wife's phone my next phone will a Huawei too.

This is a value site, if you can get all those features and more on O2 Refresh deal, fine.
Otherwise, if you're on a limited budget and are not going to squeeze all the power of phone/camera, you'll be underusing your M20P (most flagship users wouldn't notice much change with a mid-range SoC, they're now so good - different story 3 years ago; oled screens are now in mid-range like Pixel 3a, Xiaomi, Samsung, Motorola etc; lcd screens came a long way, this for example has hdr video conversion, older oleds don't have that tech)

True. Although for a moderate user, having updates to this phone for 3yrs is quite a benefit.

One thing is which phone is better, we all know the answer. Another thing is, which one is best value for money?, and the answer to that is not so easy; a final point is, what kind of user you are?, so that a phone can be tailored to you, so that you don't overspend.

Whats the best phone camera wise, around 200 new?

So many out there it can get very confusing.
There are many on here with way more knowledge but I was looking for one in the samebracket so this might help.
The Honor 10 can be found for less than £200. I think Switchy posted a deal today. Great reviews and that was when it was being compared to other £400 phones. I was going to buy one but picked up a Nokia 7.1 for £127 which will serve me just fine on the camera front. Both have fantastic build quality for the money and I looked at them because they have a slightly smaller footprint than most phones these days ( less than 150 mm tall). Alternatively, the many Xiaomi deals on this site are worth a look; google pixel 2 though you're looking at a refurb. The new Xiaomi Mi 9 lite is available for less than £200 on an import. Find a phone you like then Google a review for it, there are plenty around.
Can't believe @MrSwitch hasn't weighed in it, he must be very ill to ignore a phone deal for this long
