Hi all!

Seems like a very good price for the Nokia 8 128gb and 6gb rom. Obviously it's eglobal , so unlikely to get any extra charges according to most people on here.

Edit: didn't realise eglobal charged for shipping! So added the cheapest price (12.99) for new total.

I didn't realise they charged postage! Updated price, still quite good I think!
Doesn't appear to have the UK 4g bands for three or 02
The model number TA-1012 is the Single SIM Global version.

Whereas the specs on this phone show Dual SIM and Band 20 is missing.

I wouldn't hold much hope of receiving the correct model here.

TA-1004 is the 6GB/128GB Global Dual SIM model, with Band20. So that's the one to look out for.

TA-1012 is the global 4GB/64GB Single SIM model.

TA-1052 is the one to avoid, as no band 20

17 grand? Cold, lol
It's 159.99 from what I could see. Don't see any description on the page I found. Link didn't work for me.
so are they lying about the spec? TA-1012 is really 4gb 64gb?

They are probably lying about the model number.
Spec is probably correct as it clearly shows band 20 800MHz missing and Dual SIM option, neither of which are model TA-1012

Yeah, it's the one I bought from Carphone warehouse. Has 6/128GB of memory.

Yes, but it would be a single SIM only, with band 20
Screen issues galore with this model, due to weird lg screens used. You will need uk warranty when and if it happens, eglobal will tell you to get lost.

Uk warranty is a must. Eglobal pretend to provide a warranty but the devices are shipped back out of the uk and they will lie and try to charge u to return the device and pretend its not broken. They should not be allowed on HUD in my opinion.

Check out this thread for a typical example of eglobals warranty.

Nope it's relevant to the Nokia 8, image retention issue's and half screen going dead issue's on the IPS screen made by LG.

The link is for the official Nokia 8 sub forum on Nokia support.

Bought a Nokia 6.1 several months ago from Eglobal. Less than 7 day delivery, no fees.
Phone perfect - 64gb 4gb variant.

Would highly recommend modern day Nokia, Andoid One is perfection for me & my uses.

BIG bezels.
Have two of this I got from Amazon around March. Both where suffering with screen burn in when watching YouTube with comments loaded or reading any site that had a mostly white background for a while.

Downloaded 'twilight' from app store as suggested on Nokia forums and set the colour temp to 1500K and screen dim to 2%. Screen looks normal and all the burn in has gone with no return. Only issue I've ever had with my Nokia's apart from missing having a notification LED but got use to it after a week. Cannot be happier with my phones now and for £170ish delivered, amazing value for money! Easy battery replacement too so looking at keeping these for a few years!
If you can get the 128gb 6gb ram version for that price it's a steal (large bezels aside) ... That handset was £650 upon release due to the 835 SD flagship chip installed , opposed to the £550 release price of the 64gb varient. The glossy blue is what I have and it definitely is the 128gb which I paid £278 from a fulfilled Amazon supplier in June

The 128gb is exclusive to the glossy blue .not the tempered blue

The picture is of the tempered blue 64gb version and based upon various nightmare complaints , Eg below

parkytowers.me.uk/aw130/

I think I'd rather buy a 64gb varient from UK company with full UK warranty like john Lewis who now have it for £219 delivered....
Just get it for £219.99 from John Lewis with 2 year warranty.
If it was a more reliable supplier I would get it or if it had a worldwide Nokia warranty. I have had issues in the past with other handsets: mics not working, screen issues, headphone jacks going faulty. You have a better chance with winning the lottery than getting Eglobal to fix these issues.

If everything works, it's all good. But if you get a lemon, you be crying.
I have a Nokia 8 ta 1012. I bought it from Carphone warehouse for £299. It has 128gb of storage and 6gb of ram, it is definitely dual sim, I cannot comment about band 20 I have no idea how to find out if it has band 20. The screen is superb, the phone in general does everything I could want. If you get the chance to buy one for the price they seem to be going for nowadays grab it you will not be disappointed.
