Nokia's new flagship phone - Nokia 8 - currently retailing at approx £500, available on EE contract with £125 initial cost (£115 after using code SAVE10). Phone seems to get some pretty solid reviews and a good deal if you don't need loads of data.
Also potential £35 cashback with Quidco - not included in above calcualtions.

1gb data is very less, unless you want to use as WiFi only or feature phone. So Better buy phone separately. Currently phone exclusive to Carphone and their internet stores. After some time this phone will be more cheaper as currently only CPW has it.

It's very less than anything over 1gb.

He means it's a really low amount of data, especially given this is a new high end phone with all the bells and whistles, which would lead one to expect that the purchaser would want to be using a lot of mobile data. But I'm sure you could get the gist from his comment, like I could?
FWIW, Nokia have now confirmed this phone will be updated to Android 8.
Nokia are keen to re-establish themselves and are quickly releasing security and OS updates. Most of the bigger manufacturers take months to release updates.

I mean this is a very good phone but the deal is not very good as you only get 1gb data for 24 months. Also noticed Nokia 8 is only LTE cat 9 , One plus 5 is LTE cat 11 and S8 and XZ Premium are LTE cat 16 . So difference in Antenna and max speed using the same Snapdragon 835.
Pretty average phone actually. Good built quality, SD835 and Nokia logo, that's about it. I wouldn't pay more than £300 for it.
