Good price. Curry's / PC world have it at the same price too. Colours available are blue, copper & silver.
Great phone at that price, everything is solid - decent battery life, decent camera (OK not the BEST camera but pretty good), fast, built well and a lovely IPS screen, works with EE wifi calling despite not being EE branded. Nokia are really good with updates as well. The only negatives are large top and bottom bezels (but at least you get capacitive buttons and a front facing FPS) and the FPS is slow, accurate but slow compared to say an Honor 8 - mind you it is a lot better than that on the Galaxy S7 edge.

Is the OnePlus 5T (64GB) worth the extra £80?

This is what I'd like to know. A friend has the oneplus 5 (non T) and he rates it very highly.

HTC desire z, nexus 4, moto x force, xiomi redmi note 4.

Camera is good. Can't compare to iPhone or s9 as I'm bad photographer.

Apparently people having problem with focus, but I haven't noticed it on mine.
I've done full reset from recovery once updated to oreo possibly this helped.

I went for the 5T over this. Having said that the Nokia has the same internals and and you're getting a smaller screen if that really matters. Both have relatively stock Android. I would say if budget is the deciding factor go for the Nokia but if you are then I'd either wait for a further drop after christmas or go for this deal which I think is better value. The cashback is automatic so no faffing about with bills and claims.

Im voting hot because this might suit someone better especially if they have Prime or get Amazon gift cards for Christmas

Is the OnePlus 5T (64GB) worth the extra £80?

This is decision i had to make.

I've flashed loads of rooms and mods (first time on Siemens s55 over decade ago).

But I got tired with all of this.
That's why I've chosen Nokia. Hopefully they will keep updating and fixing bugs.

Oneplus is more developer friendly phone than just every day users.

If you don't mind flashing, playing with it etc than Oneplus, if you looking more for piece of mind, than Nokia 8

All of the ones sold in UK apparently aren't.
In my one TA-1012 tray won't take second sim, someone need to check the one from dual sim.

I believe ta-1014 is dual sim (but you need to check).

In some phones all you need to do is get dual sim tray and will work straight away.

Have you installed the Pixel camera apk? If so, does it work well?

Yes I did tried few of them. Works perfectly fine.

Pretty fast, but in my case nearly same as stock one.

Also stock camera produces more vibrant colours.

But as I've said. I've no issues with stock camera.

Is the OnePlus 5T (64GB) worth the extra £80?

I have owned the OnePlus One and 2 and I wasn't particularly impressed by the speed of updates from them. I believe they are better now but still not as good as Nokia. The 8 has received the official upgrade to Android 8.0 a few weeks ago and a public beta was available before that where the 5T has 8.0 coming next year. Also Nokia have done a good job getting out security patches every month and they have stated that the 8 will get Android 9 as well next year. So if updates are important or you want to use a SD card then go Nokia. The 5T is a good device and if you want a more "modern" look of a 18:9 amoled screen then it won't let you down, Still £80 though.

Completely forgot about sd card.

This was a biggest "no" for me as I'm plex/Netflix/prime video user.

I don't really get why they removing one of the most useful features of all the smartphones?
Especially when micro sd cards can reach over 100MB read and write.

It definitely helps to age device quicker as standard built in memory is usually enough at the time of buying, but after 2-3 years is definitely not enough as everything grows so fast.
First android apps where max few Mbytes, this days takes even 500MB

Lineage os for my nexus was few hundreds MB, while this days it's about 1.5GB for modern phones.
Hot deal. I think I've settled on this phone over the Oneplus 5t but now with the speculation of a Nokia 9 and an updated Nokia 8 mid Jan I'm stuck on whether to wait a month to see what HMD announces or just get this now

My wife can wangle the 10% student discount off the OnePlus 5T bringing it down to £404. The last 4 phones I've had have been Nexus so I'm not used to spending this much. 😊 Can't decide between the two. 🤔

Nokia is dead long time ago, people buying Nokia even if its on (s)android needs to see a doctor.
My Nexus 5x is showing its age and for the price this is great value, while it doesn’t have Treble support Nokia have committed to rapid updates.

Ordered in blue.

No point dithering over things like this. You either want it or you don't. If you wait for the next big thing then there's always another next big thing. I think some people on here worry so much about potential price drops and hardware upgrades that they never actually end up buying anything

I would say that there's a strong likelihood of a new Nokia soon. It won't be £369 though.
Still on sale at £379.99, way below anybody else's price.

They're very good at providing updates which isn't something you can say about the others in the market. In name only or not it doesn't matter.
