Good phone for the money.Hot.
And with updates to Android 8.0 already with an 8.1 build in beta, if you're wanting the pure Android experience without paying the extra for a Pixel 2, this is a great option. Especially as, camera aside, they're almost identical spec for spec.
Good price if not in a hurry to get it. Will take couple of weeks to arrive from China.

Coupon for £5.99 flashes if you give them your email.Even cheaper.
Can people say why this phone is better than say a Xiaomi or OnePlus with the same processor and RAM?

Yup I'm one of them, bought from both eglobal and toby deals (slightly cheaper for the nokia 8 ) and both delivered within a week
Wish this price was for the uk too so i wouldn't have to worry about warranty.
Good phone for the price but just a little reminder there is no bootloader lock even though they've been claiming to be working at it for the last 4 months. Great customer service but if the phones damaged only way to get a working phone is by sending it to their warehouse in Europe and waiting a month (as seen on many forums). But it's a great phone no heating issues or any other major problems.
Ordered ! Thanks
where do they ship from ?

I dont think that this phone better when xiaomi, but Nokia has one plus, phone sold here
But OnePlus is better, but can much price of 300 gbp for this deal, but overall Oneplus is way better
I had a very bad experience with this retailer. Bought a phone couple of months back - LG Flex/Match which was broken from day one! Basically I had to wait 1 month for delivery then ship the phone back (you have to cover the shipping cost) in order to get refund! If you can avoid and always use paypal for the transaction!

I was just thinking it would be criminal not to when I saw your post and thought again. It looks a cracking deal until you factor in possible delays and possible warranty issues, I held back but voted hot for those who are less risk averse than me.
Good phone with top of the line specs , with at least another major android update promised(apart from android 8.1). 🔥.

As others have mentioned, beware warranty and shipping issues

As others have intimated, the reviews of this retailer on Trustpilot are alarming. That said, I bought a phone from them a couple of months back and it arrived within a week and has been sound in operation. Checks suggest it is genuine (I was worried about fakes with it being £50 cheaper than the closest UK retailer I could find) but obviously I cannot report back on longevity of the device at this stage. Some reports on Trustpilot indicate products failing early and difficulties sorting returns/replacements.

It's a good price if you are prepared to take a bit of a risk. I've voted hot on price alone but it does come with a note of caution.

DO NOT BELIEVE TRUSTPILOT! They are just rubbish! How would you explain then that Trustpilot rates J Lewis only 1 star???

Not necessarily!, I bought an iPad just after Christmas from them (courtesy of a deal on here).

Was posted from UK!
Lot of money for a phone being sold from china with non existent Warranty
I ordered for my wife. Got an email saying status is “Packing and Delivering soon”. Anyone knows how long does it take after this?
My Nokia 8 (bought September / October last year) is currently away for its second screen replacement. Not dropped or anything, just failures. One of the cameras (dual rear camera) is also suffering a hardware fault.

Repair under warranty means sending it (prepaid, admittedly) to Budapest.

Customer service (from Nokia / HMD Global) is absolutely woeful - online forms not working, operatives who have no idea, missing shipping labels, contradictory messages, that sort of thing.

I know there's an element of "get what you pay for" but I wish I'd just spent the extra (admittedly, on this deal, quite a lot extra) and bought a phone with a local service centre and proper well-established UK support.

How much is a screen replacement just out of interest?
Do your Homework as if its a Chinese Version meant for China Market probably wont have Play Store Installed as Google isnt allowed in China (and its not a simple Play Store Install either), also some of the Chinese Version dont cover all the UK 4G Bands..
I'm tempted by this at the moment: affordablemobiles.co.uk/nok…lue

£25 a month.
The tariff is worth ~£10 a month, so £360 with the handset, minus £100 cashback, and another £42 cashback on TopCashback,

Not sure if they'd honour the topcashback as well, which would make it a steal at £218, but £260 is a decent price, and spread across 24 months might help people out.

I bought a high end Sony TV from John Lewis, was over a grand, but very soon after purchase, every few days the screen would divide in 2 down the vertical, with 2 distinct colours on each side of the screen, making viewing awful.
JL Customer support said that the solution was to switch the TV off at the mains, wait a few secs and turn it back on again; it worked as a temporary solution. Even though the problem returned every few days, JL refused to change this TV, eventually got shirty and said that they had already told me how to correct the problem to switch it off at the mains and wait a while (maybe whilst in the middle of films etc). I was stuck with a crap tv.
I never put in a Trustpilot review about JL, but probably should have done. I trust TrustPilot more than I do JL, as people have no reason to put negative reviews on this site, also fake reviews would soon be removed.

There's a surprising number of bad reviews there...but I would trust them over an international seller.
I don't understand why this is so hot. Surely it's better to get the contract deal here:
hotukdeals.com/dea…408

£600-140 equates to 460 all in for the handset and 8gb contract
Even at £293 you'd still need to find a simo deal fitting a budget of 167 over 24month which equates to just under £7/month. You'll struggle to find a simo contract with similar allowances for that price.
I know not everyone likes tying into a contract but eglobal is dodgy and personally u wouldn't risk it. If it was this price SIM free from a trusted UK retailer the heat would be justified. Oh and just to add in my above calcu6ive not even taken into account possibke quidco/tv which could make it even lower!!
