Can we not make it mandatory or at the very least highly encouraged that specs are always posted with phone deals?
It makes it much easier then to see the level of bargain on offer!

I would perhaps consider Nokia if they were on Android OS

It is.... And it's pure unlike the majority of manufacturers

In all that time all they managed was symbaian firmware, when the firmware failed they would say liquid damage, stupidly expensive phones made by arty farty designers with zero functionality and zero advancements. I would you say ur better off teaching a gold fish to do the maccerana than giving Nokia another penny. They literally took everyone’s money and spent it on doughnuts instead of research and development

U know its run and owned by a diff group of people now, hense the push on android etc?

Not sure if this phones the same, hopefully someone here can confirm or deny? Had this Nokia as my next go to phone but worried it will be full of crapware you can't get rid of.

No crapware is installed on their Android smartphones. The software experience is basically the same as a Google Pixel.

Would this be a better company if you run into issues with the mobile?
Say, if its your fault or the fault of the OEM? Do Amazon give you the runaround? ie go back to Nokia.
Warranty length is 1 year ?

Thanks for reply. I read many times about Amazon customer support but I didnt know what that really meant.
There is Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone annoyed staff take it out on customer I have experienced.

Suppose, I messed up mobile and its partly my fault, how does one fare?
Eg
1. Apps notification dont notify properly ie possibly a firmware issue.
Will Amazon say have you done factory reset? Why not? Try waiting instead for new Nokia firmware?
2. I chipped the screen and want a refund if I raise my voice and make a scene or next best a repair el cheapo.

How would Amazon handle these?

I was actually thinking of buying one of these: Nokia 8, Huawei p10 and honor 9. Any thoughts?

Nope, but it is close, the new lot are android one certified but Nokia promised a similar experience with this phone.

I bought mine a couple of weeks ago at £25 more. And as soon as I turned it on it started upgrading to Android 8.1

The Nokia 7 Plus from Clove Technologies at £349 has a 24 month Warranty.
Personally I prefer the 7 Plus. Some comparisons on YouTube of 7 Plus Vs Galaxy 9+ Camera. Holds up well against Samsung's flagship.

I smashed the screen on my honor 8 last year, Amazon replaced it for me. I make sure only they get my business even if cheaper at Argos or John Lewis.

Huawei Honor 9 Lite would be your best bet for sub-£200.

No. There is nothing else special about the 7 plus. An 8 would beat it hands down in every department apart from the rear camera.

None, in my opinion. Well, perhaps the higher capacity battery, but that's about it. They took some good bits out of the Nokia 8 when they made the 7 plus. And let's be real, if you really want a better camera, you'll just buy a proper camera and not a phone with a good camera. That's my opinion, at least. I have the Nokia 8 since December and I am more than happy with it.

Android one is possibly your first exception.

Much bigger display though.
Was planning on jumping on the Nokia 6 (2018) when it was released but this has thrown a real spanner into the works. Expecting the N6 to be ~£250 for the 3 GB model but for £50 more the Nokia 8 is so, so tempting. Can always keep my fingers crossed for a further drop in price eh
Is this a dual sim variant?
What is the battery like?

I bought this phone like 3 months ago and it's been great (to replace my old lg g3). I was expecting a good but not amazing phone and I was wrong, it's amazing and really well priced. It does the majority of what the best phones (when I bought it) did but slightly worse and is like half the price. It's also really well built, I seem to have developed a habit of throwing this phone around (maybe cus it's a nokia) and it only has minor scuffles on it.

Thoroughly recommend.
