Tempting, anyone know if updates fixed the sluggish camera problems, I recall someone here saying that was fixed on the 7.1 by an update? @MrSwitch ?

Also worth a mention that the update Android 10 is already rolling out to this device

Good price for vanilla android basically. Qualcomm 710 processor will do everything but for the most ridiculously intensive tasks and even then it'll do it, but just not as well as something with an 855 etc. However something you'll notice all the time and be happy with is the frugal consumption of the chip and phone. Not sure the size of the battery in this. Nokia have been very conservative thus hit and miss at times on the battery in recent years.

No problems with my one.
Takes great photo’s and video quality is impressive also.
Lots of updates.
I use mine as a phone and alarm clock not much screen time, I charge it every 7 to 10 days.

Reviews say the camera can be a bit slow to focus and take a pic?
Not noticed it being slow.

That's not great but also not too bad. Depends on the user usage
Sorry to intervene on another of your excellent deals MrSwitch but this is beyond my £150 budget.
I require a phone to take cycling that takes really good pictures...mainly scenery and posing cyclists!.
Any suggestions would be most welcome as I am clueless when it comes to mobile phones.
I've heard this phone has integrated meh

Yes it is, my wife has this one and curses the camera constantly. Nokia have never fixed it, crossing fingers for Android 10

For £150 you aren't gonna get the greatest camera, but for new you csn get the Xiaomi note 8 for £150 from eglobal, which has a good sensor. Or even a pixel 2 refurb can be had for around that price?
Do not buy Nokia, they all have a common fault where the USB C will quickly fail and stop charging.

Reviews of the Moto G7 Power say the camera is fairly good for its price bracket and has very good battery life which might help when out on a long cycle. Can be got for £160 new or less than £150 grade A or close refurb or open box. It's expected to get Android 10 in 2020 too.

Thanks both for your suggested purchases.
Both my wife and I have these phones and we think they are amazing. We previously had Samsung S8 and S7 and it's good to get rid of the Samsung bloatware and have vanilla android.

I bought a Nokia 8 a year and a half ago, and it's been a cracking phone. I haven't had this problem, or indeed any problems, with it.

Initially it would disconnect from my home broadband a couple of times a night, but out of the blue it stopped doing it. I assume one of the updates fixed that problem?
