Tried an 8810 4g last week. They say it should run whatsapp etc with software update to v15.00.17.03. The phone would only update to version 13 so no joy in the UK.

Good price if you can find one , but without the latest update it's a very basic phone.

According to Vodafone's website, Nokia 8110s are unlocked from them , so this is almost definitely unlocked.

Nice. Thanks for the info
OP .. "£12 brand new with a £10 top up voucher included.

This has literally cost you just £2 for the phone alone then?, nice!.

Here's a good Deal, I'll give you a fiver for the phone, the phone is unlocked, & I have my own Network anyway, so I can't be arsed for the £10 credit ...

That's £3 profit for you for you straight in + £10 free credit to boot. :-D

Hell, flog that credit on eBay for a fiver too even?.

Either way, you're quids in regardless ... hehehehehehe. ;-)

True, the local Asda store that these things were bought at, would help, OP?. :-)

To be fair I would of been tempted to buy a few if they had them

I would have shoved my money down their throats for all the stock they had. That’s how good this deal is. There are a lot of good deals but companies tend to limit purchases per customer/address/bank card etc which annoys me. They sell stuff to make money. Yes? So take my damn money !

I’m sure you also know the pain. It’s literally the difference between making a killing and just making some side money

My local Asda has them. How many do you want?
Found one at my store in Queensferry, was £24 which is pretty good if you ask me, not as good as £12 mind.

hope he doesn't fall for it.
So i guess, Asda ran out of shelves for phones.
I'd prefer to pay five times as much rather than have to contact vodaphone support! I remember unlocking my Galaxy with them and they gave me the incorrect unlock code! For months I had them spin me around in circules and talk to me like a fool that couldn't follow their unlock instructions. After many threats and angry conversations with them and third party unlock companies filling me in on all the terms they use for the codes I managed to track down the unlock code. After that experience nothing is worth contacting them. If this is unlocked and you can flash the Vodafone firmware off fine otherwise just pay for it to not be Vodafone!
@NeoTrix , is this the same phone you rocked in those Matrix movie's, from the late 90's going?, or ... lol.
DragonX17/06/2019 22:16

As many as you can get

It might also be a bit pertinent to ask as to which end's they're actually coming from too, I reckon?.

Eg. If they're alllllll the way Scotland (for arguments sake), and you're also alllllll the way London, which one of you two is gonna do that 'legwork'?, or ... lol.

sent mine back too soon by the look of it. the phone will be a lot better now.

You have your own network? Explain

Hahahahahahahaha, as in, I'm on Network Three, and NOT on VodaFone, etc?.

So, if the OP's phone is unlocked, then I'd be obviously able to use it out the box with my own preferred Network. :-)

But if the OP's phone is rather locked to VodaFone?, well/then ...

That's all really?, lol.
