Expensive price for Snapdragon 845 in refurbished phone. . I would buy new Mi 9 with snapdragon 855 for this price. Snapdragon 855 is much better as battery lasts longer and latest WiFi 6 standard, latest modem, fastest graphics included. Voted hot by mistake. Nokia is not competitive any more.

I have to agree with you about the mi9 being the better phone, however this is still a good price, and if someone preferred this to the mi9 (yes there are different people to you in the world) then this is the best and cheapest price currently available.

Now i need to go and take a very hot shower, and scrub away the shame of agreement with Sam

One on P30 Pro is very usable from my week with the phone even if not as good as capacitive ones
I was "lucky" enough to pick one up from Amazon Warehouse for £330; it arrived yesterday and went back today.

I really wanted to love the phone, as before jumping ship I was a Nokia brand ambassador for years (the E7, N8 & Lumia 1020 & 1520 remain some of my favourite handsets), but this was a real dog of a handset, with the camera being slow & inconsistent and the fingerprint reader being even worse than I'd imagined.

A shame, and a real missed opportunity.

Brand ambassadors need to learn Nokia history as well how it changed hands from Nokia to Microsoft to HMD Global. Lots of things these days have brand names from the past but nothing to do with the original company. Like Kodak battery etc. Some Golden oldies still think BT, British Gas, Royal Mail still owned by the government or public ownership which is not true.

Indeedy; as a tech writer of the past 20-odd years, I was closely affiliated with Nokia through the golden ages, present at the "Burning Platform" speech and was lucky enough to be seeded 95% of handsets released through the Windows Phone/Windows Mobile/WIndows Phone era, (including the really disappointing MS Lumia 950XL which felt like a Beta upon release). I've had no involvement since the licences were procured by HMD, and the two Nokia handsets I've bought (the 8 and 9 Pureview) have both left me cold, and a little bit saddened.

Since then I've done a few gigs for Huawei & Honor, but I'm enjoying watching the development of mobile as a whole (and not switching handsets every three weeks); it's easy to see why Samsung are consistently doing so well, and I've got a feeling that your love for Xiaomi is well placed - which hardly makes me Nostradamus.

(The above is moot if Huawei release a "P30 X" with the P30 Pro cameras in a Mate 20 X body or equivalent; I would be on that like the proverbial seagull on chips).

I thought that HMD Global were some of the old original Nokia lot?
I backed the Jolla phone when they split from Nokia after the (lovely) N9. Meego, what an OS.
Jolla phone is was too much of a departure, which was a great shame.
I would buy Nokia again, but the 8 Sirocco was just ok.
I'll wait for the next one. When they've sorted their PureView cameras out.
