Nokia E71 18 Month contract @ £25 p/m with 11 months half-price by redemption @ Mobiles.co.uk

Found 9th Feb 2009
Thought this was an amazing offer considering how much this is elsewhere.

Neat smartphone with GPS and QWERTY keyboard for £25 a month effectively reduced to £12.50 a month for most of the term.

£312 total term cost with £40 Quidco potential - so fingers crossed it'll only be £15.11 a month!

what do you get in terms of minutes/email etc?

200 anytime /200 texts
Plenty for me.

Actually I already have a contract and my phone's died so I'm going to have two until I cancel my other one in a couple of months

you can get this from 'orange' direct for £16.70 a month with 200 anytime minutes and unlimited texts. Or for £18.90, 400 minutes and unlimited texts.... Might interest some people as you don't have to worry about cash redemption.

This price is after the £100 cashback via quidco on Nokia E71

Be carefull with this company. Ordered phone this morning, had to confirm that I am willing to pay £150 deposit to O2 which would be credited to my account after 3 months. After confirmation received an email saying that handset is out of stock....

mobiles.co.uk again...
A lot of their "In stock" phones are actualy NOT :x
I had the same situation with Touch HD so canceled order stright away

Quidco for them is tracking very fast though

Is it canceled automaticaly or you have to call them?

You have to call them because they assume you are "ready to wait" a week, or two or more...

You also need to pay £48.50 for the phone (and the Quidco might not be paid)

I've checked everywhere - onestopphoneshop, e2save, O2, phones4u, carphonewarehouse - this is the cheapest available at the moment.

these are what Three.co.ukthreestore.three.co.uk/pri…DSL are doing for deals with the phone - I have an E71 from them and pay £25 a month for 750 texts, 150mins and 1gig data allowance. (so that i can downlad work emails)

The phone is excellent, and very slim and apparenlty you can install the Garmin Sat Nav on them. But i have yet to give it a go.

I was just looking at 3 - good deals but I already have an O2 contract I plan to use so just needed the cheapest. Garmin does install - have seen it running on N82 and looks good.

Is this phone fairly quick - opening text messages for example? The CPU seems to be one of the fastest available...

yes its very good, ive not had one problem with it at all. I have it also scheduled to download work emails during peak times every hour mon-fri to save on the data download.

keypad can be a bit fiddly at first but you get use to it.

if you are with O2 do you have their broadband - half price if you have a phone contract with them - i have th 8mb for £12.50 you can get it for £7.50

I have Virgin Media - 20Mb. Can't give that up - I'm still paying less than £30 with phone and TV included!

The price i quoted you was including the £48.50 for the phone...... for the extra £1.60 a month i know where i would buy it from, without worrying and hassle about cash redemption, and people stating that the company you mentioned is unreliable ;-)

each to their own

No it isn't!

£24.46 x 18 = £440.28
+ £48.50 = £488.78
- £100 Quidco = £388.78 (/18 = £21.59 per month)

£21.59 - £15.11 = £6.48 a month or £116.64 difference overall.

Show your working!

Orange have altered their prices on this phone to £117 in the past 24 hours because it was £48.50 for the Dolphin 25 and free on the Dolphin 30. So it is no longer available at my prices. Sorry you missed out on a deal.
