Seen very bad review about this 510 ! Beware of the RAM, slow CPU, Bluetooth and Sharing file problems, hope I am not the first one to see it.

Not bad, GPS, FM radio, 5mp camera and windowsphone OS 7.8 for £70 is not bad.

If you can find something on the Tesco Direct website for £5, bringing your basket to £75 in total, you can use code TDX-RHTW to get £10 off a £75 spend therefore bringing cost down to £65. Hope this makes sense.

I don't think so if this code ll work on mobile phone purchase.

if anyone knows a valid code for this phone please share.thanks

any idea if these are unlocked? thanks.

Per this link, will you get this phone in shop for £55 if you spend £30 pounds?

If you can afford an extra £30, honestly, just go for the Lumia 520. Twice the RAM, twice the in-built memory (and expandable), a newer dual-core processor, Windows Phone 8, and more apps. Best price this has been, but with the Lumia 520 being such good value (available for free on a £7 p/m contract or under £100 outright), this needs to be under £50 to gain any sort of traction.

Well, Carphone Warehouse, although a £10 top-up is required.

Also be interested to know where the 520 is £7 on contract please? Thanks

Ignore this poster's inane comment. I don't know where you found one bad review but I've seen plenty of positive reviews. The "poor" specs you quote mean absolutely nothing when talking about a Windows phone.

Will this play Crysis?

Good price, great for your mum or dad I am sure.. but really pay the extra and get windows phone 8. Its has more of a future.

Just been to the site and went as far as the checkout , they don't seem to charge the normal mandatory £10 top up , anyone know anything about this

I bought a "Tesco" boxed Lumia 800 a couple of weeks ago and it was completely unlocked. Got my vodafone sim in it now

Tried one and found it very laggy and cheap.Ignore the other idiot who has obviously never had his hand on one.Spend the money and gp for the next one up.

No you don't have to buy top up credit if you don't want .its not compulsory. I bought many phones from Tesco without topup credit .
Hope it helps

cheers

Waiting for a 620 deal at the moment. (If that's under 125 quid somewhere, I'd go and buy it)

Bought my girlfriend a 610 last year for the same price. Can't get wrong with those new nokias - they are fantastic. Real value for money. The 610 obviously is a bit slow with the 256mb ram, but the 520 should be fine. The best feature is the offline maps/gps that we use all the time when travelling in other countries Perfect if you have no wifi or don't want to pay for roaming internet abroad.

Wouldn't get the 520 for that very reason, but for 70 it is of course a fantastic deal for everyone who doesn't need that feature.

Voted HOT. Fantastic deal.
