this is decent but moto g is miles better.

Windows 8 is so good you can't turn it off.

ordered thx...hope it will do the job till i will find an 5s under or somewhere near 400 thx

Awesome! No topup required crap!

thanks

Any screen protector/case?

This is a good little phone. I wouldn't bother with a case Haq, as the plastic backs are so cheap and are easy to swap over if yours get scuffed etc.. However, from experience, this phone has 'normal' glass and it needs a screen protector on from day one. I managed to get a small scratch in first couple of days in my pocket and I don't carry keys or coins.

how does this phone work if no topup required?

put the sim in but does not force you to buy on different network credit you can put a sim with 0 credit and have it all your life to receive phones

Phone is awful. The battery sucks.

Thank You...just ordered for Mother In Law.

How does this compare to the Lumia 710?

Anyone know if this Will this work on 3 mobile ?

Sim free should be able to accept any sim

Cracking little phone. Won't set the world alight, or please iPhone owners, but good for me. Good price.

Windows phone user - love it, but be prepared for less apps then Android or Iphone (although now more developers are taking Windows seriously)

and oh - it's a smartphone for £70 .... enough said

I'm confused, price says £69.95 but surely the title implies it comes with a SIM and is free, was £69.95. It's only 512Mb, surely?

You been sniffing glue again?

I thought I'd be getting 8 phones with 520 windows Oo

Great phone, picked one up for £60 when the upgrade offer was on. It's my first smartphone and does more than enough for me.

So much better than the Moto phone. Voted hot as it's the best phone at this price you can buy.

If you are trying to be funny. You're not! If you don't know what a "sim free" phone is research it before making stupid comments.

Or free of any sims as one would surmise from "SIM free", not "free SIM".

512 ram is generally sufficient for windows phone. It is a smartphone, but assumption with this is you'll use whatsapp or facebook, etc., not all of them at once for smooth operation.

Hot phone for the price.

Been waiting for this. HOT!

Hello Could anyone tell me if i could put my virgin sim in this phone cheers

Scorchio! Great device for the money

Decent little phone but poor Vera and also seen quite a few faults with the unlock key.Not sure if it's down to the case or just poor build quality.

Am thinking of buying this to use as a satnav instead of buying a traditional satnav. I was thinking of spending £100 anyway. What do you guys think? Does nokia drive give speed camera warnings?

I have a Lumia 920 and am very happy with Windows Phone 8, as long as this runs smoothly it should be a great little smartphone for the money. It also comes with Here Drive which is a good little satnav app.

Ordered one thanks!

It seems like a daft idea to me, kind of like a jack of all trades, master of none situation. If you're looking to buy a satnav, buy a purpose built one.

The camera on the 720 is a bit better and it has an LED flash and it has a front facing camera for video chat etc.
The 720 also has something like 400mah more battery life, as well as a compass so the maps are more accurate.

the CPU and RAM is the same on both.... all in all I'd say the 720 is a better phone... but this phone but this is still a really good for that price.

About using this phone as a satnav: HERE Drive is absolutely excellent. You can download maps to the phone (so it doesn't use your mobile network connection), and it will show you traffic along your route. Personally, I've been using Waze a lot over Christmas. It's really great, and has some really neat features that make it a bit better than HERE Drive for me.

A 'jack of all trades master of none' is a comment strikes me as one made by someone who probably hasn't used it and assumes it's more limited than it is in reality. If you're after a basic satnav to get you from one place to another, with traffic and always up-to-date maps, then this is perfect for the price. And you also get a phone with it too ;-)

I'm a fan of Nokia MixRadio, too. Free unlimited music streaming that you can download to the phone (and, for example, listen to while you're being satnav'd around ;-)

Really, not bad for £70

I heard good things about Nokia Drive, and you get UK,EU+more maps, speed camera and regular updates. Am only buying it to use as a satnav. But it's my first satnav, so am looking for advice here.

Its only really a handful of of 3D games need more then 512mb of RAM. If you cant see yourself playing games like Modern Combat or GTA on your phone you'll be fine.

I am have phone with 1gb of RAM and TBH I don't play the 3D games. I just don't feel they work very well on touch screen.
