Hmmmmm, I don't know anything about this phone other than it's mostly a music phone. Not voted either way.

looks smart by my nokia 5800 touch screen is as usefull as a chocolate ashtray.

oh and hot because its alot more expensive on nokia website

looks sweet

Is this version 'comes with music'? Can't see it anywhere

Not bad but would probably risk getting the 32GB from the Nokia website personally - £450 but 10% off code available so makes it about £405. But then they are also currently doing 20% quidco cashback as well (can be used with voucher as its a quidco who have supplied it) so could be potentially as little as about £320.......also get 24 month warranty with the Nokia shop. Thought its worth informing people of this option

Oh and its also the "comes with music" version with nokia so a years free downloads.............

You know i often wonder how people get 2000 or so posts, I've come to realise lately that it's by making invaluable contributions like yours.

As from today it's also a full sat nav with turn by turn directions and live traffic alerts.

Sorry, but I don't get why this is so hot? Doesn't seem that great to me.
I'd rather stick a 16GB stick in my SE W995, would be cheaper and is a better phone (sorry, but I still see touchscreens as a gimmick, had a couple and have gone back to a good old keypad).

you're not doing too bad yourself, 66 from sep 09!

play are terrible at delivering on release date for hardware, I have been stung a couple of times - both times they claimed stock and continually stated delivery on release date.

After the nokia 5800 XM, i will never get nokia until they have good software, the S60 R5 is very poor, ovi store is rebbish, ovi maps is good now its free (not worth paying for).

Android or even WM6 is much better than nokia at touchscreen and than you have the iphone for apple lovers.

Its disapointing how nokia have let apple and andriod take the lead in the fast growing touch phone market.

Nokia need to scrap the current software and design new software from the ground up.

it still like nokia 8800 and the 6700 and other phones of this type

Rep for that info man

£300 for a phone, some people need to get a grip.

ive got the 32gb.

never ever gonna use that much personally but is a nice phone if you want a standard nokia.

It's sluggish at times and mines crashed a few times, but its one of the few phones with a touch screen that has an alphanumeric pad rather than qwerty when the phone is vertical.

this is great if your like me and are used to the keypad.

screen is responsive thanks to the capacitive touch.
sound is ok, not the loudest but its descent and the battery life gives about 1.5 days with fair usage.

My friend got his 32gb one today, I will see him tommorow, and test it out. Will report back, but the person(snowman) talking about nokia website for the 32gb one - that sounds like a better deal.. double memory for £20 more or so.

Yes it is comes with music too, basically their more modern 5800 as far as I am aware.

maemo5 and only working now on N900 and its the best OS you can find
great software much better than iphone and android, but not much applications yet and Ovi store is not good

I've got a HTC HD2 which is full touchscreen. Once you get used to the button presses it is fantastic. What it does mean though is that I actually have to look at the phone when inputting telephone numbers etc as it it extremely sensitive. You don't even need to touch the screen to register a keypress.

sorry - do you have the phone? do you use it personally?

friends who've got it - tell me it doesn't compare to S60V3 and how even the basic features are lacking in the OS

big claim you make there when you say its the best OS if you haven't used it!

I find touch screen a whole league above buttons, there is so much more you can do, would never go back to an old style button only phone.

After having the 5800 for the past year and loving it, i'm thinking of probably going for this as my next upgrade, the other option is the N900 but the o/s is still relativly new so there maybe many bugs.

Hi,

I felt I would need to reply to you on this. We give our best estimated date as to when the manufacturer (Nokia) will ship the stock into us. If we see a delay, then this will be down to the manufacturer delaying in shipping stock.

FYI, this has now been confirmed as Black and not white. Again, this is down to Nokia at such a late stage.

Hope this clears things up.

It's not like I slagged it off or anything is it and I wouldn't as I'd not even heard of the phone until this was posted. I help out where I can in my own time for complete strangers which is what this forum is about, I don't have to but I like to help.

My good deed for today so far hotukdeals.com/ite…d=1. I see from your 67 posts you've helped nobody other then sarcastic comments and posts where you think your funny....your not.

Your post history is a joke which is laughable after what you said about me!

This is just a selection of the best of the worst, basically 67 posts of utter drivel!

lol, what is this? Its a deals site yeh but if im going to be wearing a pair of jeans most of the time im out the house then I dont feel bad buying a pair of jeans that A: Fit B: are comfy and C: Last longer than 1 night out.

Does everyone shop at asda for everything on this site?

A mate of mine buys jeans from £120 to £200, t-shirts, jumpers and tops of various kinds too. I think he's mad but he can afford it so why not.

Not worth over £270 IMO.

Rubbish processor so it lags, it's the same as on Nokia 5800.
Very poor for games, the graphics are absolutely terrible. This alone means it's no iPhone killer.
The OS on it is unstable, because Nokia are working on the newer Symbian 2 and 3 whilst releasing quick-fix solutions to the current Symbian.

I would have said it's worth £210 but now that Nokia smartphones have free Sat-nav it deserves some credit.
