Thank you for your kind and helpful post
It wouldn't be without warranty, Nokia's standard is 2 years. This may have started already if being purchased technically as refurb/open box, but if brand new like in the linked deal it should have the full term. The warranty is with the device, not the owner and proof of purchase is not required. I've purchased second hand "faulty" devices before and then had them repaired under warranty. If you can get the IMEI of any device you're looking to purchase, or already have it, check your Nokia warranty length here - https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_gb/support/topics/imei-checker
3 years warranty is deal breaker ... Nokia's customer service is very good so to me no point taking risk for few pounds and buy without warranty
Cheaper here - https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/nokia-72-charcoal-64gb-63-lte-dual-sim-at-technolec-ebay-17909-3514997 - (but with 2 year warranty instead of 3)
Assume once was for the charging port? That doesn't effect the 7.2. Out of interest, what was the second for? I found the Nokia warranty process all highly efficient, especially compared to experiences I'd had previously with Motorola (the fact they only offer 1yr should have been an indication of what was to come)!
