If anyone is interested in getting these items cheaper, I have a deal, PM me

Well, yeah, aside from the fact that the Steel HR was developed by Withings, rebadged as Nokia, and they'll be taking it back under the Withings name very shortly. Along with a nice big net profit from what they originally sold the business to Nokia in the first place. I actually like the new Nokia Android phones, but that company have made some poor business decisions of late.

So basically you are left with a set of weighing scales as the body composition measurements are highly inaccurate.

They removed the Pulse wave velocity measurements (Cardio tracking), so basically the main selling feature. Without this, it has exactly the same functionality as the Body+ and any other smart scale out there. Shame on Nokia, they did nothing since announcing their comeback, other than revive a couple of retro phones and no innovation.

What features were there , that Nokia took away? What use were they? As far as I can see, these are only good for weighing yourself.

Nokia Body Cardio scales - body composition £79.95 @ Nokia

Bit of a harsh freezer burn for this first deal. This should have been hot. The ownership / branding change is inconsequential to product, and even without PWV this feature set and reviews make the price hot.

Yeah, it is unfortunate that they removed the Pulse Wave Velocity functionality for regulatory reasons.

Cheaper than it used to be, but crippled by software removal of the best feature. Returned mine for refund after they downgraded the features.

Nokia Home 50% off = £84.98 delivered
Found 28th JunFound 28th Jun

No SD Card slot and expensive monthly premiums make this a no for me. But I have not voted either way, because a 50% saving is still a good saving. For those interested, reviews cite that the Home should be applauded for its design, however the sensors are overly sensitive and the IR can oversaturate in night vision mode.

Well made scales, but pulling the pulse wave technology after people had bought them was a scam, claimed the refund.....glad Nokia are going back to withings....might buy another set if they relaunch the full functionality again. Avoid for now.

Does anyone know how these compare to the Xiaomi smart scales that cost £30 odd?

expect these drop in price after Nokia has said they are selling back (and rebranding back) to Withings:

Agree Plus not sure if true but they have pulled their pulse wave velocity function for the moment because it wasn't doing what it promised to do? So if true, £20/30 extra for nothing.

I can hold my finger on my iPhone home button for ten seconds for my heart rate, why would I want to pay an extra 30 for that.

Any feedback on this phone?

Any recommendations for a decent case and/or screen protector for this phone?

HTC U11 for sure, but has to come down in price (like U Ultra did - actually a better model to compare with Nokia 7 plus, both not quite flagships)

Mine arrived a week or 2 back, was pretty beat up but I assume its ok inside, havent even opened it yet.

Just had a UK mail slip through the door saying I needed a signature. Assume it's the Google Home Mini. No tracking number as they've scribbled it out and it literally just says 'sent back as needed signature'. What the heck am I supposed to do with that? I can't even ring UK Mail as there's no tracking number so you just end up in an automation loop.

No I wasn't going to order, just got an email and thought it might be useful. Obviously not (lol)

Lol happens. Did you order this or was you about to?

I'm actually stupid, I read the John Lewis deal as £460, not £360. Oops! (fierce)

That makes your Nokia 8 £450... sound financial investment mate...

Free Nokia HERE online map

This is quite good if you want walking directions too, can pre-download a whole UK map for free and get transport times if online, with minimal data.

co pilot is aweful, yes I bought it what a mistake. This is quite good, hope they polish before m$ kill the nokia brand

Many thanks, looks very good will try it on the way to work in a few days.

Really good spot. Used it today and the live traffic was bang on. Outrageously, CoPilot want to charge for this feature once you have used the trial of it! Only missing feature are speedcams but there is an alert that goes off if you exceed the limit (not me, obviously). Highly recommended.

Worth a try, heat added.
