Technically speaking one of the best reels on trade. High speed 6.3:1, low friction carbon rotor, carbon frame, extra light body, aluminium spool plus extra graphite spool, 7+1 Japanese ball bearings system, one-way clutch, antitwist power line roller, oversized bail arm, advanced computer balanced rotor.

The long series of outstanding features of this tool is completed by a last generation computer balanced rotor, CNC metal handle with ergonomic EVA knob.

A must-have for demanding anglers, recommended for use with braids as well.

Thank you very much DonnyBrago . I needed another reel like I needed another hole in the head.

This is indeed a bargain beating others by 20,00£. (Bought the 1000 to replace the one that fell in the lake (I like small reels and Centerpins))

Heated, how is this for fishing mackerel etc from the rocks? Or is it best for course.

It's fine for sea work, will need a good rinse afterwards in fresh water to keep the line roller etc moving.

Main issue is it'll be a bit small for Mackie bashing.

Better off with a 3-4000 size reel for a single lure on a lure rod or a 5000+ size reel if you are going to be lugging sabikis on a beach caster.

Thanks for the info DonnyBrago, I only get time to go twice a year & mostly spin/lure but I need to update my kit a bit & need a good reel . It's a shame the mackerel are in such decline along with my favourite lures! (cebar/German sprat)
