Nook HD 7 inch tablet - Smoke Grey

Having skimmed through this tread, it was a bit confusing how this deal works and the Op didn't have the info added to their description so I thought I would summarise...

1) Add Nook to basket and check out
2) Complete all your account information
3) When presented with pay in full or create credit account, select create credit account
4) Complete the credit account steps until you are back to the page where you can either pay with credit account or pay in full by card
5) Put in the Op's voucher code on the right and click apply. It will show in the top right as £30 voucher.
6) Now click Paying in Full and complete the transaction. They take the full amount and refund £30 after.
7) Wait for Nook to arrive and £30 to be credited back to your card.
Close down credit account once Nook has arrived and £30 credit received.

Job done! Phew!

isme cancelled my orders instead of giving in discount. isme= cold but ur deal is hot .

For £50, this is a very hot deal. Too bad it doesn't have a camera(s). Heat added!

this is a cracking wee tablet bought one from Sainsbury's but ended up having to send it back due to a faulty charger and bought a nexus instead because the nook was out of stock

for new customer only?

Only valid if you have a credit account.

coldddd

Plus £3.95 postage but still a great deal. That is one Christmas present sorted :-)

What's a credit account

Tablet hot, isme ice cold unfortunately.

I got a 16gb one of these recently for my son from isme with the new customer discount for £73 delivered.

I just got the same deal at Very. I think Littlewoods do it too?

First time 'credit' customer doesn't mean that you have to buy it on tick. Just choose 'pay in full' at the checkout page.

They take the full amount but credit back £30 at the same time, essentially you pay 50 quid plus 3 or 4 quid delivery.

Code:
3P6LM

If you go for the Nook Reader Glow at 49 quid, just add a pack of crayons to take it over 50 quid and use this code:
3RXVU - to get £20 off.

It's the same as signing up for a catalogue from what I can see, they give you payment options but you don't have to take them.

Well you do have to setup a credit account but what I did was pay it straight off and I will be closing the account soon.

I looked at getting mine this way but decided I didn't want credit checks and all that so just got it from Sainsburys. Easy to return if it plays up within the year as well.

Kong donkey buy it through john lewis as you get a 2 year warranty with any electrical good at the moment if that is any help

But you don't use the credit account to pay for it, you choose 'pay in full now using a debit card' option.

The process for signing up takes about 2 mins, max.

EDIT: I see the Isme checkout page is different to Very, will be following the same steps as you!

Well - I ordered this yesterday morning and have just been emailed by ISME.COM to tell me the order is cancelled and they will only explain further over the phone!!!

Obviously they're not keen on giving £30 off these things any more!

Mine is here its not a bad little device but its no way as good as the nexus, great for holiday over the nexus

ordered mine Fri night. order been accepted. see what happens Monday when the office staff get in.....

Took the plunge earlier today, also waiting to see if I get one tomorrow.

Anyone know of a cheap Bluetooth keyboard and case/stand, either seperately or together, for a 7' tablet?

They are honoring these orders. Mine arrived today.
Amazing price (£52.95 incl shipping) for what seems to be a great tablet.

THANKS OP!!!

Can't open credit account, my address is not in their credit check database for some reason.
Feel gutted!

Does anyone know promo codes without opening credit account?

Great deal, hot

You can look on eBay but may be an idea to try one in person before buying a keyboard as my Nook wouldn't pair with a Samsung bluetooth keyboard I have.

Quidco tracked at £ 6.58

Just had a confirmation email for the order I placed Sunday evening.

Logged into ismi and the £30 has been deducted from my credit account to leave a total of £52.95.

just be careful, isme set me up big time on refunding me. there returns policy stink.I wont trust them after that.

Nook will soon be going out of business. This is the reason why they are selling their gear at half price. Not to induce people into reading, but to make people buy more digital content from them in a desperate bid to keep their ship afloat.

So 'good guy' Barnes & Noble makes these ereaders with micro-sd and let you use your own digital book library. And after that they go bust because of it. All this while assh0les like apple thrive by selling obscenely priced consumer electronics prisons. It is a strange world

£52.95 is what I paid too from very two weeks ago.

Opened a new account on my wife's name and email address used the £30 new customer code to get the discount.

Received the Nook and then paid off the very account using my credit card in full!

Wow, how did I not see this until now!

The NOOK HD is crazy cheap, as is the NOOK Simple Touch GlowLight ereader for £30.

They deliver on Sundays?

I had it sent to my moms and the track and trace shown delivery by yodel on the 20th (Sunday). I may not take that now as gospel as I'd requested item to be left in the green house if she was out , track and trace said it was at neighbours house and had signed for it when in eventuality it was in the rubbish bin at the side of the house.

Just to add , these need either updating to 2.1.1 or re flashing with normal android because they are pretty useless otherwise.

No google play store on stock software which means no free downloads.

I found a wonderful site ( XDA developers ) which allows you to remove the B&N software and replace it with android 4.2.2. I now have a very very good tablet for the cost of a made in china cheapo.

Ordered so hopefully they follow through thanks.

Check out the XDA forums if you want to go pure Android and skip the Nook interface, although it is nice enough (look for Hummingbird EMMC roms).

Bargain tablet for the price!

It blows my mind this deal isn't hotter.
