There were a few cases in store at pcworld for £5 too.

The official Nook cases are really nice - seem very well made and robust - we have two in our family (bought at £10!)

posted a fair few times but a good reminder for everyone the extra cables and wall chargers for the nook hd+ for £5 is a proper bargain

Got a couple last week. Quite nice. especially the way they clip on to the holes top nd bottom on ur nook. :-)

Thanks! Heat added.

Just ordered a case and international charging pack. Also £5 and includes 5ft cable, USA, EU and UK adapters.

Got my tracking confirmation, they are being shipped from Holland but will be here tomorrow!

I like them but wondering whose bright idea was putting 2 clips on every single cover made by B&N when Nooks are capable of holding 4 clips?

The whole device dangle dangerously from B&N cases which does not inspire confidence. With time the clips will lose firmness. If one plastic clip breaks after a fall then the cover will be useless.

Elastic corners - not a massive fan of them, but at least they hold the Nook more securely than 2 clips.

No surprise that B&N is struggling with falling sales every quarter even though they have a fantastic ereader. They lack simple common sense. Bunch of Idiots...

Mmm interesting about the clips, let's hope the Mrs doesn't break one then!

Can you post an actual photo mate? Just want to have a look at the inside.

Also if you share how the case feels and how secure it is.

This is exactly what they look like inside ^^

The clips feel quite secure and hold it in place nicely, the outside does have a premium feel about it and does feel like real leather even though it's not.

All in all, well worth a fiver and the mrs and the daughter are well happy :-)

Thanks for the heads up, was about to get this one.

Thanks for the heads up, was about to get this one.

And my strong advice to you is YES, go ahead and get one, despite the well-intentioned advice above.

I have had this case for over six months and can thoroughly recommend it. Those two clips hold the device very securely and I never have any worries about it falling out. Also, as someone else comments above, the cover has a lovely luxurious feel to it, like soft suede leather. It has a very handy magnetic clip which holds the cover securely closed or open.

Well worth much more than £5. Go for it!

(I previously tried a case with those ugly corner straps and hated it.)

Thanks for the heads up; heat added. Glad to see these covers at a reasonable price at last.

This has been posted before but that was a few weeks ago. Heat added. Anyone try the stylus? Every stylus I own I dislike, they don't glide and also 'miss' a lot.
I bought a 360 stand cover and whilst it's good and holds the nook HD very securely it does add a lot of bulk. Gonna get the groovy cover, it looks thin, hope it is.

I tell everyone about my nook. Absolutely fantastic ereader. Love it better than the sony reader I had (broke by standing on it :() and the kobo (also broke by accidently standing on it)

Cannot recommend the nook enough. I know this is selling the covers but just some advice for anyone looking for an ereader and happens across this thread.

i got the groovy stand case for my nook hd+ & its a great case but so heavy, doubles the weight of the Nook. Just ordered the 360 stand hopefully its a lot lighter - can't go wrong for a fiver & they are so well made.

I got the stylus last year & very impressed with it, looks nice & works well

Cant agree more, love my Nook HD+ works well except for the odd freezes now & then. Installed Apex launcher from the play store so its more like an Android device instead of the Nook OS which isn't the best & got a 64gb card in mine so over 80gb of space for my blu ray rips & TV Shows for £129 you can't go wrong & such a beautiful screen to watch movies & read books or magazines!!!

Thanks for the heads up OP.

So many different covers to choose from though. Which is the best one for the Simple Touch?

I just ordered the Industriell Stripe Stand In Carbon as it has a stand built in, (oh & a Lewes Quote - Indigo, seeing as they're only a fiver)

thanks

Same

Seems the best deal

Thanks to all

Great deal op, but I can't order it! First it kept saying problem processing order and now it says 'we're having some technical difficulties'. I guess you've all crashed the site, shame. (I have tried using different browsers)

Listen!! Do not be conflicted! Spend a measly £5 on this and I promise you will not be disappointed. If you are, feel free to curse me unto my grave. X)
