Wow I though I had a good deal at 65%
Not sure about quidco as its already reduced, they may argue about price
Imagine I bought it and forgot to use Topcashback 55% , I cancelled and didn't get round purchasing Now you come with a 80% cashback deal. I'm all over this! FIRE
Quidco I find are hugely unreliable for cashback. My opinion is that it's a big risk. Nordvpn is fantastic btw

That's just ridiculous, guess i will have to now.
If I buy this does it stack does anyone know? I still have 2 years left in my account.
Do I need this? Pros and cons?
are people using a fee free card to buy this and selecting United staes for the VAT part during registarition? If l select UK it charges an additional £16.48 on top of the £82.40 bring the total to £98.88?
Quidco recently denied my claim for cashback from a Very purchase after months and months of claiming. I reached out to Quidco on Twitter and they agreed to pay my claim. They claimed orginally that my cashback could not be tracked due to too many tabs ect... Happy in the end

It's advertised as a 3year deal on Quidco itself, at least it was at 65% off when I looked yesterday.
Anyone knows that I can have it under different email than registered to Quidco?
Steal! If you want to use it on Linux (Ubuntu, etc) be aware you will either need to configure in terminal or use openVPN (easier) and choose servers manually. NordVPN do not have a ready made interface for Linux users.
Nord is trash, oversubscribed trype. The proxy extension is also garbage and barely works, slow load times, tunnel errors galore.
Wow maybe I will get it
I've been getting awful speeds over the last month or so. Not sure I'd recommend it to anyone and considering switcing back to PIA.

Yeah it is proper low rent, literally. The best one I have encountered is Mullvad but you probably have more experience than me on this subject.

Ah man, all the time, deal looks gold then one comment like this kills it. I know it obviously requires more research and with everything personal experiences will differ vastly, but still.

Can you elaborate on the issues, approaches to remedy, failure to fix? Did you go/find a better alternative?

It reads like you’re bashing it hard for the sake of bashing it which may or may not hold merit.

For just over a fiver a year (as long as it tracks) it's worth having as a backup VPN or possibly as a Double VPN.

I only use Double VPN anyway so i always need at least two providers.

I'd go for it if you are a casual user and just want something cheap. If Quidco tracks you are paying next to nothing. I hear Quidco is set to clear in October if you can afford to wait that long for cashback. PIA probably is a better option though. Everyone has different requirements as you say.
Mine tracked with Quidco in 19 minutes, must have been a quiet day at Quidco towers.

As of late most VPN providers seem to only care about more customers = more money. I hate to say but the majority are all the same, you will eventually notice slower speeds and hangs due to oversubscribed servers. Also, if you ever experience the tunnel error, it is down to to many people connecting from the same IP (VPN server), YouTube for example, then blocks traffic on that IP, making the whole thing useless, this occurred far more with Nord than any other VPN (proving that it is way oversubscribed). There is no remedy regarding NordVPN slowness/glitches, what it really requires is more servers and limiting subscription until ample bandwidth is available to those servers. The chrome extension is beyond help, just look at the reviews via chrome extensions page. Also, never belive anyone banging on about how good a VPN is, the majory of people are paid to advertise and promote it, which is rampant with Nord and most others. If i were you i would go for a lesser known VPN and do not buy anything longer than a year incase it go's bad, which it probably eventually will. The best VPN i have tried is VPN.ac, but even they began to have speed and connection issues, even so, they are better than the rest i have tried.

I also purchased NordVPN through Quidco, which still has not tracked a month on and probably never will.

Is the Quidco Rep around to advise if Nord VPN will payout on the already reduced £82-40 3 year plan price? I dont belive it will only cost £15 for 3 years.
My Quidco from yesterday did not track like many have reported.
Nord seems to track in 30 minutes or not at all.
I cancelled via live chat and tried agian today with a different email and Ccard, same thing.
Many have reported on the other post from this week that Quidco is not tracking even though the Quidco site says 98% success.

98 is not a 100!
Fack me, another Nord deal.
What's interesting is that when you click through and go to the signup page it knows you are from the UK because it shows everything in pounds - (Use a VPN & it will show you euros, dollars etc with no advantage to the exchange rate.)

The curious thing however is that even though the site knows you are from the UK it still insists on defaulting to the United States location on the drop-down form, they also seem very keen on reminding you that the U.S. is 'VAT 0%'. Of course if you click on the UK it shows the VAT & a hefty price increase so the vast majority are going to sign-up via the U.S. stated default location.

I just wonder if that's a perfect storm they have cooked up that QuidCo will use as an excuse to decline your cashback if you sign-up under a country that is not your own, (Deliberately trying to avoid VAT is against out terms of service blah de blah etc - or any other related excuse).

Just a thought.
Appreciate the responses. Totally get it, sadly applicable to many things these days. The biggest killer for me is the quidco part, I have very little faith in them.

This deal speaks volumes, either Nord is stating, it should be priced like this without the quidco or Quidco knows that a % of people will lose out on tracking issues.

Has anyone else found Quidco to be pants or not tracking properly recently
Would this stack at Nord, still got time on my old sub, thanks?

No different, been using them and tcb for years (qc £2.5k, tcb 1.9k). The only times I get declined are when the company goes bust.

Same advice as always: use a separate browser for qc/tcb only and nothing ekse, set it to allow cookies, no tracker blocking etc. I use firefox for that purpose, but probably others work fine too.

i was going to cancel if it didn't track and after an hour it hadn't just got an email saying it has so pretty pleased about that can't grumble at that price for 3 years for a decent ish vpn

I can see many big VPN brands doubling over one another, load balancing, soon.
I bought a 2yr subscription 18 months ago, no problems with the service or speed.

a couple of days ago I bought the 3yr subscription for £82. no tracking after 24 hours so I've cancelled, I'll get my money back in 10-14 business days.

the 3yrs was added to my remaining 6 months.

if you can get the 60%+ off it's a bargin. I might try again with another email address and card. but I think I'll wait a few months.

Try openVPN for Android. There is an instruction on the Mullvad website. It depends if you want to jump through a few hoops to set it all up

yes it didn't track for me, but then it might have been my fault, I use opera with its built in popup blocker and Ublock popup blocker , also using Avast so that might have been the reason. who knows for sure. I only saw the info to turn them all off after I had ordered

I agree, the speeds have been terrible over the last few months. My renewal ran out on the 18th so i switched to another vpn and only 50 quid for 3 years
