NordicTrack are a well known brand in this area and this seems to be a good spec machine for the money. I looked around for a while before ordering this and couldn't find anything that seemed better value. Plenty of great user reviews for it too.
Mine is being delivered today so I'll let you know what it's like.

voted hot. Good discount. after a couple of months it will make a great clothes rail

Oh Id love one of these so fed up of running and getting no where,

Had one of these from Costco, and thank goodness they have a good returns policy! They fly wheel needed wd40 to get rid of cluncking noises which where off putting while yiu used it and got worse and worse. I had a replacement at first thinking it was a one off, but like me Gym crazy sister told me, Gym stuff is always being maintained and fixed. Big disappointment for me all in all, so I got a refund. Would have thought I'd have got a good machine better than a cheap one from Argos.

Always good to hang your washing on after the first few weeks of use

Cardio is rubbish unless your a woman. Men who work out don't need much cardio if any at all, a light jog for 30 mins twice a week is good enough. Non intensive cardio comes with everyday things such as walking, gardening, laundry.

Plus it's alot for what it does, get outside and go walking or jogging

We've bought this for my wife and I to use. Three young children means not a lot of time to get to the gym so this should help us get our exercise in when we can. We used to get to the gym 5 times a week and are both missing it!

We're also on the lookout for some versatile weights equipment - probably a power rack or squat rack with Olympic barbell.

I don't agree that you don't need cardio. Weights are definitely the foundation to a good physique but cardio plays a part.

Just waiting 3 months before you put in the "for sale" section for a hundred quid, then ill buy it.

If its any use to someone else I bought one of these on a deal and its fine for interval training (was £100) it also folds away!.

HOW MANY reviews were there? WHEN were they posted? (if all around the same time then it's their staff drumming up sales)

I purchased a cross trainer and the motor failed within 4 weeks but THEY chose to repair and NOT to replace and just went downhill from there. I had to use my credit card to claw my money back after 9 months. Quite frankly they are **** ! I do not want anyone else to go through what i did. Go for for Kettler or Reebok or anyone else but them...Dont do it trust me!

Do any decent company need to drop their prices by half?

Not surprised, WD40 is a degreaser, not a lubricant so probably made it worse, not better

Used it once so far for 30 mins and it feels pretty good. Not quite gym quality but probably 80% of the way there for 10-20% of the price. Certainly a lot better than most 'home' devices.
Time will tell how it holds up but so far, so good.

They don't,,that's why I only paid £499 from Costco.
