in netting for easy transport.
£35-40+ elsewhere online (Google search for Nordmann tree 6ft)
not put ours up yet but looks good quality - it's going outside but the label states low needle drop so fine for indoors too.

Hot. Now to find a home bargains store down south!

Will it last until 1st of January? I think maybe no. God price though.

Good price but I'm not sure I'd take the risk with one of these. I'll stick with the ikea £20 back tree as usual.

A quick Google for this type of tree comes up with cheapest at around £35-40+ (£35-£45 @ Homebase for example), lots of places selling them.
Can they really be that bad?

Taken from christmastreesdelivered.co.uk/sho…ir/
Nordmann Fir (Abies Nordmannianna) is the most popular Needlefast tree, It originated from the Caucus mountains in Russia. Easier to cultivate than the Noble Fir, it has lush dark glossy green needles and a perfect pyramid shape, plus a sweet resin scent that will fill the room.

Got one of these last year, did drop needles but was fine for the money.will probably get 1 again.

We tend to get "Frasier Fir", not sure if it's the same, lasts from beginning of Dec to early Jan, inside near a radiator, and last year wasn't in a tub of water. Didn't drop many needles at all.

Anybody seen any 'growing' Christmas trees in Home Bargains yet? They had them last year and we managed to kill it so need another.....

I wait until 23rd December and buy one for £1 at B&Q.:)

we sell Nordmanns at our garden center for £25 delivered, never had any complaints about them dropping needles, I don't even know how home bargain are making a profit on this tbh

I'm thinking about getting a real tree this year (never had one before), however, can somebody please tell me if they just needed to be potted up in a bucket full of compost - bit confused as somebody above stated that they didn't stand it in a tub of water - what do most people support them upright with? Thank you.

would this last til just after xmas

If they are pre cut, you just need to stand them in a tub of water. You can buy Christmas tree stands in B & Q, which have an in built bucket. This just keeps the leaves fresh and green. Keep them away from a radiator where possible. If you are buying a growing tree, they tend to come in a bucket with compost and you can put them in the garden in the new year for next year.

Where on the site is this £11:99 norman cut christmas tree. Or do i need to go in store to get it?

You are best of with the bucket Base at £4.99 so you can keep the tree in water. The £8.99 base isn't a bucket so the tree will dry out quicker.

is this just the bigger stores?

These are £19.99 at aldi and possibly not as tall

Total rubbish. Travelled 25mile round trip from where I live to two stores in Derby and BnM are not selling real Christmas trees. Very annoying click bait. One cross single parent and disappointed little boy!

Thanks for the tip. My wife picked up the last one in Accrington store today, saving us £15 or so on what we would normally pay.

Perhaps it would have been worth calling to check first?

Perhaps trying Home Bargains and not B&M would have got better results.
