Nordvpn 3 year plan now £82.40 plus possible 70% cashback via quidco

Nordvpn 3 year deal works out £82.40 once the discount is added

Go through quidco and its 70% cashback
Topcashback 57.75% cashback

Ps I know similar offers have been added in the past but as the cashback level dropped I've been looking for it to go back to a decent level.

Tracked fine looks like a 3month wait with quidco for cashback

Great deal but you have to pay 20% VAT in the UK, which takes it to £98.88

I set it to usa and no tax

Tempting. So is that £82.40 total over the 3 years? Minus 70% (£57.68) is £24.72 after cashback, or 67p a month? If so, great deal.

Anyone use Nord and can recommend them?
Id like to know if anygood, I use IPvanish currently and was about to go vpnexpress
yes I use Nord......plenty of servers all over the world

Yes that's right, I've not used a vpn before but I thought I'd give this a go at that price
Nice. Definitely good deal.

Wait and it will be 80% cashback or go for it at 70%. Decisions decisions!!

Can you still pay with UK card?
Hmm i heard this VPN is pretty bad from user experience. Considering getting Torguard.

This was what I was thinking but thought I'd just go with it, no guarantees of it going back to 80%
Can you still watch BBC on it?

Why would you want to watch the BBC?
When you're abroad say oz it's a pretty decent option

I've just tried and I've would accept my UK cards with VAT set to US.

CORRECTION : It wouldn't accept my UK cards with my VPN on and set to a US server???? Turned off the VPN and it accepted my cards.

What I've read too, they just spend loads on advertising but service isn't that good.

Which is all well & good but the question is will QuidCo use the 'deliberate' avoidance of paying VAT as the excuse to decline your cashback when the time comes for payout?
i purchased this yesterday as was looking for a new vpn and Nord is highly recommended, no brainier really. Only downside i have is no port forwarding, so i cant set this up on my server and then access applications running on it.

Yes so did I, but using Quidco meant that VAT was added. I'm happy with the service & the cash back was paid just wish 20% vat hadn't been added to the cost.
I’ve got Nord until 2021 if anyone wants to share anything with me a Sky Go slot would be nice! Or a private torrent site for movies/TVs

Is this only for business people?

My 3 years of Nord service is coming to end very soon, and I can say I am happy with it. Go with it, I m really happy with it.
Slowest VPN I've ever used. I get about 10% of the speed I get without this VPN.

Yeah, it's very very slow. Streaming say a netflix sd video causes simple browsing to lagg like hell.
I find that companies that take money upfront seem to quickly lose interest in future service.
Does NordVPN provide the settings so that you can put them into your torrent client settings, but leave the PC as a whole going directly?
Last year for 47£ for 12 months so this one seems to be rather cold.

oooo can't wait for the replies to this one
I use Nordvpn. One thing to bear in mind is that sometimes the links from hotukdeals dont work - Im guessing some sort of affiliate tracking link that hotukdeals are using.

Aside from that its solid - maybe a little slow to connect but seems to be ok

I've used VPNExpress for years. Very happy with it. If you want it, send me a dm, we both get a month for free for a referall.

I've been using Nord for about eight months now, I've never had any problems whatsoever, quick connection, plenty of servers both here and overseas and a nice user interface, i used cyberghost before this which was also very good but became too expensive, I got Nord through top cashback and it tracked and was paid within six weeks, although i heard that wasn't everyone's experience.
Saffsam01/08/2019 08:59

Yes.
If you have any problems, click on help at the server selection popup. If the info there doesn't help sort out any problems, contact support. If they can't sort it, you've got 30 days to leave at no cost if you're not satisfied.
Hmm, I'm due for renewal soon, but I think I will just stick with PIA, never have any bother and the speeds are great, even on 300Mb fibre.
If I pay with an account in Africa would I get cashback?
i thought nord was one of the best for privacy and anonymity protecting you from big brother ?

but maybe for streaming it aint so good is that the consensus ?
Edited by: "ijwia" 1st Aug
Nord is good for protecting your data but for BBC, Netflix, NowTV (if you live in Switerland like me) don't bother. Nord is that popular all of the streaming services knows which servers to block.
Please... please track.

Edit: Tracked, phew.
