Maybe a more subjective view... TNF one has decent backpack straps which is the main reason I got it so I can wear while cycling. Regardless of which is a 'better brand' this is the cheapest I've seen the black version of this bag which always seems to be more expensive than the other colours.
You're right. One is a quality product, used the world over in harsh environments and conditions. The other is for brand snobs.

Ps voted hot and got you over the 100 points

They say that but they've never not paid out for me, it's a bluff ..
Made about 12 orders in the past few years, using random codes found using google
I'm not voting either way, however the Montrose bags will give the North Face a run for its money. Though the one in the link isn't like for like. These bags have been used in the offshore industry for years.
I think I disagree with nothing beats North Face, I personally have found lots of brands such as Rab and Montaine to be cheaper and vastly better.

Larger, but I think they also do smaller versions ( my son has this and I have a NF one) pretty much the same thing.
It looks good stuff - just ordered one to try
Thanks, bought this one. Hope it is big enough to fit a football!
This seems like a good deal if you can stand the colour :-D

It doesn't have the durability of the northface.
