Went into argos tonight to get my Norton Internet Security 2006 which is on offer at £24.99 and when they passed it over the counter it was the 2007. I have checked the website and it doesnt look like they even stock the 2007! Dont know if it was only my store though! (first post hope Ive done it right!!!)

Hello alycat :-D Thanks for your first post. I've added a pic, and a price in the thread title. You could maybe paste a spec in from the argos site? A little more details is good

Welcome to HotUKDeals from me too alycat and Thanks for your first post

its free to download if u know how:thinking:

you can't pirate security products because they need updates.
having said that... you'd have to pay me to install Norton software (too many reasons to go into). there are better free alternatives.
i recommend:

AVG
Kerio
Spybot
etc.
all free and better.

see
filehippo.com/
castlecops.com/
both sites trustworthy imho
please, don't give this awful company (Norton) any more money (i say this as a geek who often gets asked to fix computers :/)
voted cold as it's quite likely to make your computer run worse.

Totally agree with Smiff, I repair PC's and the amount of trouble Norton causes is unbelievable, I use AVG, SpyBot, Windows Defender and Zone Alarms. All free and keep your PC running at a decent speed

You can pirate security products, its only a matter of fooling the s/w into thinking its registered. Personally i wouldn't bother though - as you have mentioned there are that many good free products out there.....
