Great price, still more than happy with AVG free though, voted hot though.

you are kidding !
you mean best virus on the market
have fun uninstalling

it is a good piece of software but the price is way too expensive

1 year/3 user license goes on ebay for less than a £10er

all you need to do is buy the older versions i.e. 2009 or 2008 then apply a free upgrade,,, all the non initiated always buy the latest version so that price is always higher and thankfully the older versions are lower

I currently have a 2 year/ 3 user license 2009 that I purchased new for £12 and its running on the 2010 version

Takes over your system making it extremely slow. Lost count on how many of these I have uninstalled(having used uninstaller provided on Symantic site)

Stick with AVAST Free edition...

even the 2010 version? Thought it was completely re-written and comes very high on professional test charts.

Correct - previous versions of Norton were infamous resource hogs, but the 2010 is indeed completely re-written and you can't tell it's running. PC Pro magazine recommended it in a recent review, and had a 6-month trial of it on their cover DVD. Good stuff.

Yes - given the poor reputation of the previous versions, some people have had a hard time accepting that it's changed massively. Good product, not a great price mind.

blimey, at least SOME people are starting to accept it.
its amazing how many people will flat out refuse to even look at a Norton product now.

things change, and sometimes for the better. an open mind, especially if you're a PC tech can help you a lot.
I never ever thought I'd be running Norton on my system after 10 years of hating it and 6 of those years refusing to sell it.

but its brill and using less resources than Eset was and idle, less than my logitech keyboard software
