The Norton Internet Security Performance Pack delivers fast and comprehensive online threat protection, guarding your PC, network, and your identity without slowing you down.

Using intelligence-driven technology the scan speed is increased and shortens the time and resources used for scans to identify viruses, spyware, bots, and more. Receive updates at least every 15 minutes to get the latest threat definitions and to improve protection blocking attacks before they can infect your PC. Any web sites considered unsafe are identified right in your search results.

The Norton Utilities software that is included in the pack is designed to keep your system uncluttered, freeing up extra disk space and solving PC problems with one click. The registry gets defragmented and cleaned so programs open quickly.

This version is for 3 users.

Norton Internet Security won PC Pro magazine recent security round up.

pcpro.co.uk/rev…010

I know a lot of people vote Norton down based on having used it years ago but have never used the recent version.

As this post is already -43 degrees one assume loads of people just click "minus" because it is Norton.

(Not sure what the "Performance Pack" in the product title means, if that is the same as the standard Norton Internet Security product)

Yes but pc pro is not independant, and most of the antivirus/security is now available at a good level for free. Especially since microsoft security essentials moved in, as they have no financial gain behind their product..only their reputation.

Plus I spent a good deal of yesterday deinstalling (albeit last years version) of Norton securtiy which had crippled the performance of a not so spritely machine, and Norton was my diagnosis of the cause.. Norton gone, pc back to life, pc now protected with ms security essentials and comodo.

I have to say I think that Norton has improved a great deal and some households are happy to pay for somethink they feel more comfortable with. Heat from me

Norton need a total re-brand otherwise they will always have a terrible reputation, and rightly so.
