Great DIY book for ladies and gents.
Have personally used versions of this book for the last 20+ years for all sorts of DIY jobs around the house.
Please note this book does not have a 10bit cover...

Has Youtube not rendered many of these general instructional books …Has Youtube not rendered many of these general instructional books redundant? For small DIY jobs (replacing tap washers, draining down CH system, chasing a wall, patch plastering, installing a PIR security light etc), Youtube offers step by step videos from experienced professionals on how to do the work competently and safely, tips and tricks of the trade to save time, and even explanations of theory behind the work.PlumberParts Youtube vids have literally saved me hundreds and hundreds of pounds, while also giving me a solid understanding of how the plumbing systems in the house work in case I do need to instruct a qualified plumber for more specialist work.

Not really it's like saying hasn't the Kindle made physical books redundant.
Hold tight!

First rule of build your own telly is :
1. Have a bloody big argument on an AV forum about the merits of 8+2 versus 10 bit panels.

Disclaimer:
This book has nothing to do with Phil Collins.
He may be an ok sort of drummer/singer but knows nowt about DIY.

Had my old faithful for well over 25 years. Very well written by experts in their field backed up by concise illustrations.

YouTube is great but you have to trawl through misinformation and annoying Americans before you can find what you’re looking for.

Kindle and a book do the same thing! YouTube videos always my first port of call, my Readers Digest manual rarely gets a look in!

No annoying ads in a book though...
