Note 20 Ultra EE upgrade. Unlimited everything, no upfront. £70 per mth 24 months £1680 online offer @ EE
Posted 6th Aug 2020
I have just pre-ordered the Note 20 ultra for £70 per month with no upfront. I phoned up to try and get this deal but the guy said there is no such deal. So i went back online and done the deed. You can also chose between the New Galaxy live buds or 3 months Game Pass and a free Moga controller. The phone is out on Aug 21st.
This is by far away the cheapest offer on EE and probably a mistake. So be quick. this online offer may go.

I don't understand why people pre order Samsung phones even with the free gift. Wait 2 or 3 months or wait till Black Friday. Last year Samsung gave £400 of Note 10+ and free watch. Some great deals on contract as well.
That phone is not worth the price with Exynos 990 chip. I really hope people don't buy and send Samsung a clear message that prices are far to high.
I'm a Samsung fan and I will probably get this at some point, but the price is a joke, I'm using a Note 9 512Gb version, it's brilliant, but i only paid £470 12 months ago.

This was announced the second the phone was announced, I can't see this being considered "cheap" by the users on this site.

I think give it till November and we are likely to see this down to £50 per month with maybe £99 up front.

Hope so, think I'd bite at around there.
Risky posting a just announced phone.

Lol, why, what's the risk?

Cold votes??
Why do they only seem to have 4g plans for 5g phone?

Yes lol....you know how it is , .
Still using my note 9 too, which is still an
excellent phone! ...upgrade in November....got the Note 9 around 3 odd months after it came out.

Upgraded....not upfront cost and 38quid a month.....mostly on WiFi so don't use a lot of 8gb mobile data allowance.....looking to do some hardball bartering when I upgrade.

Note 20 looke very nice but the Microsoft duo is peaking my interest.....probably end up leaving EE this time round

Can't imagine why youd buy the note ultra over the s20 ultra. I doubt the Exynos 990 is worth it.

Most places selling the s20 ultra for 99 upfront and then 50 a month

Nite29 runs at 120 GPS for the xbox game pass streaming supposedly. I always get note phones.

I wanted the s20 ultra but wanted to wait until the note 20 dropped to compare them.

Also there's a better deal with three I think?
Half price for 6 months then 78 per month £100 upfront? Unlimited data.
Not sure if we has 5g?
Another wastage same thing in different colors and slight design change ... Company ripping of intelligent innocent people
That's a lot of money for a phone, even factoring in the contract service charges.
As others have implied, this will be half this cost in 6 months. Happens with every Samsung flagship.
I'm not sure where Samsung can go with this now, design wise. Its now a virually bezel free rectangle. How will they try and sell the inevitable Note 30? - 8 cameras all at 100 megapixels with 1000x zoom???
I've had almost all the Notes, and this is probably the least overwhelming upgrade for a long time. We don't get the snapdragon. It's essentially the same underpowered chip they have in the s20. I'm more than happy with my Note 10+.
But I have been avoiding the software updates as I'm sure they'll conveniently make my phone run slower and drain the battery faster...
From a distance, the picture looks like someone sitting down and dropping a bean from their behind.

Specs arent everything.

The note has the s pen which is amazing.
It has 120hz dynamic refresh rate which means it can change the refresh rate based on what you're doing on the phone.
It honestly has a better look and feel.
The display is 25% brighter.
The battery is a little bit smaller but when you take in account of the dynamic refresh rate it wouldnt be that much of a difference in battery life.
The camera on the note goes up to 50x zoom while the on the s20 ultra it does go to 100x so a point to the s20. However when comparing the 50x on each phone the note is significantly better but I still doubt anyone would use more than say 20x.
The note has a better chip.
The note has gorilla glass 7, the first on any smartphone.
The note weights less.
The note is thinner.
The note has laser autofocus.
The note has ufs 3.1 storage compared to 3.0 on the s20.
The screenshot you added is not correct as base storage on the mote starts at 256gb, not 128gb.

No snapdragon 865+ for uk is a no go for this phone

Why do they only seem to have 4g plans for 5g phone?

all new plans now inc 5g
If i stayed on my PAYG contract (true not unlimited data, but 40Gb is still enough for me) and bought the phone outright, i'd save over £300 than i would if i switched!

You can get unlimited data on vodaphone for a total of £1464 or 24Gb on voda for £1484. If you dont need EE or that much data, there's certainly better deals out there.
Yesterday the cheapest unlimited everything upgrade from EE that I saw was £75 pm. Strangely, they were incorrectly saying they were only 4G plans, but plan details say 5G. Just check and saw they added your £70 deal. Will have to check with chat to see if it's 100% 5G.

You think that kinda money grows on trees?
I used to get a 20% off link through work perkz site but they've recently been removed, £56 might've been tempting
@sucramco did you get the 256GB or the 512GB for this price? Thanks

I did that with Note 9. 20% off student/work and 10% off extra line discount for £50 p/m and I regret it soo much. £50 for a phone is way too much for a phone that will lose its value so fast
Did you say £70 pm wow il get my coat
Cold
Looks like it was a mistake... EE have changed it so you have to trade-in an older phone to get this monthly contract.
