please explain why so cold?

Price, maybe????

Looks expensive and 460GTX is not fast enough for gaming.

Wasnt scan doing the same deal but with proper motherboard and corsair ram for about 500? without card

Novatech has. cheap memory and motherboards, I just bought a quad core 9350e, and it was all very basic.

I could probably build that PC for about £450.

the 460 gtx isnt fast enough for gaming... really? And can anyone point me in the direction of a gaming PC of a budget of £600, prebuilt... cheers

Just lol.. 460GTX is great for gaming.

so where is the best place and the best spec to get a gaming rig for around £600 prebuilt then!?

Lets be fair to OP - this is for a pre built machine.

Its a bit like saying a house is too expensive because you could buy bricks and windows much cheaper at the builders yard.

If there is a cheaper same spec pre built than this link it.

Do you still have 19" monitor with 1280x1024 resolution?

GTX 460 is rated as "Great 1920x1200 performance in most games"

You are looking at a card that cannot support HD resolution in latest games with all features turned on. What do you think will happen in 6 month? in a year?
At least get something that will work as "it meant to be played" for 6 month.

it hink comparing it to a house is a bit too extreme. a house requires hundreds of man hours to compelte but a PC? 3 - 4 hours? this system doesnt have a OS either so it cannot be comparable to other prebuilt systems. eitherway i dont get the OP's attitude.

Do you know what HD resolution is? Clearly not if you said it can't handle more than 19" monitor with 1280x1024. Because that is HD. PC's have been "HD" for many many many years now.

My GTX260 handles games fine at 'HD resolution'.

You guys (with the exception of Rainbow Dave) don't know what your on about, I have this pc yes it was a bit pricy but runs all games on full spec and in 1080p HD. I have been playing Battlefield 3 on full everything and HD.
