November and December 2018 3 Night Long Weekend Lapland Santa Claus Packages from £220.15pp B&B or £449.29pp Half Board @ Norweigan

Found 7th Jan
I know, I know. I shouldn't be mentioning Christmas already but I know Lapland Holidays are popular and the hugely popular Santa Claus Village in Lapland has already sold out for independent bookings for much of the weekends over Christmas from 14th December onwards (likely blocked booked by travel agents who are going to charge you a small fortune for day trips and weekends to Lapland, however there are still a couple of bargains to be had if you are able to book now).

I've focused this deal on Friday-Monday packages.

For those who can do a long weekend on 30th November for 3 nights or 7th December for 3 nights, you will snag the last weekend availability for dates closest to Christmas at Santa Village!

The screen shots below are for 7-10th December and include flights, airport transfer, cabin at Santa Claus Village and include bed, breakfast and evening meal - so staying on a half board basis. The exact same room, and flight details are the same price for the weekend leaving on 30th November.

Book flights on norweigan.com £680.20 for a family of 4.

Book Classic Cottage on a half board basis on santaclausholidayvillage.fi/en/…me/

2872680.jpg2872680.jpg
The total price is €1260 for a family of 4 which works out at £1116.98.

This brings the total price for a family of 4 to £1797.18/£449.29pp including flights, transfers and accommodation on a half board basis. Don't book the cabin with the private visit by Santa Claus. It costs significantly extra when you can add on a private visit by Santa Claus for €150 separately which is much better value.

Travel agents are charging almost £700pp for one night on a bed and breakfast basis for a trip on the same night as this deal which although includes some activities I'd check out the page of activities on Santa Village so you can, if you wish, pick the ones you want to do rather than paying for those you may not want Activities

Now for those that are on a tighter budget, I'd suggest going for November dates and staying on a B&B basis. It just depends if this is too early and it may not be as snowy as December. The beginning of November is really good value.

Again, book flights on norweigan.com 9th November for 3 nights total £324.80 for a family of 4.

2872680.jpg
Accommodation at Santa Village is much cheaper during this period and bed and breakfast for 4 will cost £627 which works out at £555.83.

2872680.jpg
2872680.jpg
The total price for this holiday is £880.63/£220.15pp on a bed and breakfast basis.

You won’t believe how many parents do! It’s unbelievable.

It’s unbelievable how many teachers think it’s ok to regularly strike for better pay for their part time jobs (suck it up as you have more time off than Santa!) and affect the very education that they complain is being destroyed a family wanting to go on a week long holiday at sensible Money once a year when family time is part of the education of life. More important than any lesson in school!

Those fines are a stealth tax and no more. Should be kept for truancy and late arrivals only. Truancy and a once a year family holiday are two totally different things

Is there a link to this as the link takes you to a cruise page ?
Seems a good deal but the OP picture looks like Jeremy Corbyn In disguise . The kids will be worried if they don't share their pocket money.

It's the normal Norweigan Airways site. A mod is sorting it as I haven't had much luck amending it

Can this be for family of 5?
FURIOUS holidaymakers are suing after claims that a grumpy Santa and “frightening” sled ride helped turn a dream trip to Lapland into a horribly unforgettable Christmas.
A total of nineteen guests are taking legal action after the £10,000-a-family trip to Hotel Lomakyla in northern Finland fell disastrously short.
Don’t know if it’s true. Got it from the sun newspaper lol

Seems 7th December not available now as accommodation has sold out but 30th November for 3 nights is still available.
Thank you so much op! I've been looking for the past few years and today I finally booked! Going in Nov and staying in the centre rather than Santa's village. 4 adults and 4 children under £2000 for Mon-fri
Annoys me that 2 adults and 2 children half board is the same price as 1 adult 2 kids.

I'm out.
Will Norwegian still be in business by December?
I can't seem to figure this out!! I put in Manchester and all the months says no flights?
Is there a link for manchester flights please?
Guys much better value to go on a skiing holiday and do the Santa stuff whilst there. We have been twice with Inghams, once to Levi and once to Yllas and it was brilliant. You fly into Kittila and it’s only a short hop on a bus to either resort. There is loads of information on the Lapland forums on trip advisor . We stayed in a hotel called the Crazy Reindeer in Levi and it was superb.
Do you want the magic or a theme park?, if it is the latter, go for it but you wont be going through a fairy lit forest on a kick sled to a private Kota to see the big man with elves by braziers handing out hot berry juice and toasted mallows.
We got 4 days 1/2 board last year for under 3k with a private sauna in Ivalo.
Shop around, here you will pay through the nose for the extras and more importantly end up queuing in sub zeros.

I typed in Manchester and 0 are coming up.
Guys this deal is from London. Norweigan don't fly to Lapland. From Manchester you'll have to search elsewhere probably to Helsinki first and then connect. You are unlikely to get direct flights.

I don't think you can fly from Manchester, I've booked from Gatwick as I had the same problem. Going to drive up and pay to park or get the train the day before and stay over in a travelodge depending on prices. Might have found a nearer airport thinking about it now Was panicking a bit though as availability seemed to be going quick. Done now though, been wanting to book for years but never took the plunge as been too expensive. Can't wait now

Ollie is that right.... FOUR adults and FOUR children!!!! That's amazing!!
My children are only 1.5 and almost 3....but it's something I definitely want to do with them!! Probably 6 years from now!!!!!
Yes you have to book quick especially if you want November/December and particular hotels or accommodation. The big travel agents tend to block book some flights and hotels which is why availability goes fast.
does a trip there convince a 9yr old santa is real? Or does it just add more doubt and realisation is not real? How authentic and detailed an experience is it actually going to be?

So it’s ok for teachers to pay full whack, as we can’t have any time off other than the holidays we are given. We can’t book time off for sports days etc. Sums you up that you think teaching is part time. All the hours spent marking & preparing etc. As well as dealing with nasty kids. You have no clue & are very small minded. Please only comment on things that you understand & teaching is obviously one that you don’t.

I WOULD have gone with you as I think the only time a once a year holiday should be banned out of school is in years 10 and 11. However....teaching is a part time job?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I used to teach. Try doing 70-80 hours a week, every week, during term time and of the the 13 weeks school holidays you only actually get 4 weeks of no work.

Maybe stick with the statement you know about next time so we can get on the bandwagon with you rather than just sighing at the wrong stuff.
You know, I was out the other day and people have got their Christmas decorations up already. Way too early.
