The black Novo Aurora 2 is available here, and the white Novo Aurora 2 is here.

Ainol have established themselves as the most popular Chinese tablet brand over the past year because they offer great design, great product quality, and the latest hardware. The new dual-core Ainol Novo Elf 2 and Aurora 2 offer more of the same. They use the very latest hardware in a package that is comparable for quality to the products you buy in UK high street stores.

The Novo 7 Elf 2 and Aurora 2 share the same blisteringly fast dual-core internal hardware, with the differences being a high-brighness/wide viewing angle IPS screen in the Aurora 2, 8GB storage in the Elf 2 vs. 16GB storage in the Aurora 2, and the Aurora 2 being 2mm thinner. Both are high quality tablets with perhaps the fastest chipset you can get in Chinese tablets today. If you are looking for a reasonably inexpensive but high quality tablet then either fits the bill perfectly.

Dual-core Cortex A9 CPU with Dual-core Mali-400 Graphics A brand new dual-core Cortex A9 CPU running at 1.5Ghz provides a real power boost over the first Aurora. Dual Mali-400 GPU cores are used instead of one, giving truly incredible video performance. Benchmarks (AnTuTu) have shown the Elf 2/Aurora 2 to be slightly faster than the Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy S2.

IPS Display - Enhanced Brightness and Viewing Angles The Novo Aurora 2 has a high brightness, wide (180°) viewing angle IPS display. This is the best type of display technology currently available. The display is 5-point multi-touch and capacitive.

7" Screen Size and 1024x600 High Resolution 1024x600 is the optimum resolution for a 7" tablet and makes the Aurora 2 perfect for web browsing or watching widescreen video content.

1GB RAM and 16GB Storage A very ample 1GB of RAM is installed, improving the operation of Android when multi-tasking many Apps. 16GB of storage is huge and more than enough for all the Apps you could ever want to download. Storage can be increased as you wish in up to 32GB chunks using micro-SD cards.

Front 2 Megapixel Camera The Novo 7 Aurora 2 features a front webcam so you can use it for video chat or taking photos.

Wi-Fi Connectivity Wi-Fi(b/g/n) is built in so you can easily connect to your home network, office network, or Wi-Fi hotspot whilst on the move. If you have an Android or Apple phone you can connect to your phone's internet connection easily using the tethering feature.

HDMI TV-out The Novo 7 Aurora 2 has a mini-HDMI out port so you can attach the tablet to your TV and watch videos, listen to music, or view photos. The Aurora 2 then becomes a Media Player. All the main video and audio formats are supported (MKV, AVI, H264, MP3, WMA, AAC and many more).

Long Battery Life The Novo Aurora 2 uses a 4000mAh battery to delivery outstanding battery life. You will get upwards of 7 hours use whilst web browsing or 6 hours playing video.

Play Store and Flash All our Novo Aurora 2 tablets have Play Store and Flash pre-installed. All you need is a free Google account and 100,000s of Apps including Skype, Angry Birds, and BBC iPlayer are all available for easy download and installation.

High Quality Design and Build Quality Ainol have built their reputation on being the Chinese brand with the best design and build quality. The Aurora 2 has very similar design to the first Aurora, and as such benefits from that tablet's robust build quality and attractive design. The Aurora 2 is thin and light. There are no front buttons to break or gather dust and the front surface is completely flat.

Large User Community Ainol have emerged as the leading Chinese tablet manufacturer and they now have a large and active user community. The depth of user support is important when buying a Chinese tablet, and with Ainol you have the reassurance that you are buying from a brand with a large user base.

Please note! Ainol do not ship a charger with the Aurora 2. We are currently shipping a UK sourced and high quality USB charger with all our Novo Aurora 2. You will not get a charger from most other stockists.

Box contents: Ainol Novo Aurora 2 (white casing), UK USB charger, manual (Chinese), mini-USB to USB OTG cable, earphones, 2x screen protectors, screen cloth.

Cold only £99.99 at Hardware Heroes.

The Novo Fire should be available next week at around the £130 mark from UK sellers.
I would rather prefer to get a GOOGLE NEXUS tablet for only a bit more than the Aurora 11 or the upcoming FIRE. I am waiting for a NEXUS 10" with the quad core cpu and jelly bean os, but i doubt that will be soon.
Cold. Not a Playbook.

(only joking, I didn't vote)

I'm gonna wait a bit more for some owner feedback of the Fire (Flame) as there were a few problems with the Aurora II, with reports of overheating one of them.
Hopefully hardwareheroes will keep their price differential over other sellers.
They sold the Aurora II for £109.99 while it was £130 on Futeko. (Black)

Been looking at this price range of tablet for a while. I'm torn between the 7" Ainol Fire/Flame when its released or spending a bit more for the Samsung Tab 2 10.1

Haven't found anything inbetween.
When the Tab 2 comes out soon with the quad core CPU it will be awesome , at the moment it is a very good tablet but not fantastic.
