Brand new. Can be used as a Bluetooth speaker for your phone/tablet/laptop.

It's just dropped from £16.99 to £14.99, which was already a good price.

The same model in grey is currently reduced to £22.99 on the Argos website.

EDIT: Now £12.45. Thanks weyyytictacs1!

EDIT 2: Now £11.45. Thanks dunny06

My experience of this is the complete opposite. Excellent signal with or without ariel. Great piece of kit I think

Same here. Got one for about a tenner I think, from Argos a while back and it's been very good.
This arrived today, good little radio, not sure what the other guy was on about with the aerial, seems pretty sturdy to me.

Agreed, I bought one for £17 a while back, complete waste of money. Terrible signal, drains the batteries and the display stopped working on mine after 8 weeks. Avoid
I'm taking the massive risk. Reviews on Argos look positive too. Argos are OK with returns, so got to be good. Thank op
Can one use Nectar points and return to a local Argos ?
Have had one for a few years for the garage, it's great. Signal is fantastic even with a snapped ariel
Good little radio, use one in the kitchen
Bought thank you, will see how long some rechargeables last
I've been using one for a couple of years as well. Also bought for a tenner from Argos.

Size is about 4.5 x 4.5 x 3 inches and they have a nice "grippy" coating rather than being just hard plastic.

Reception, as always with DAB, depends on a good signal.

The preset function is a waste of time, it's quicker just to click back and forth through the stations, so for me that means ten clicks from Radio 2 (Ken Bruce) to Radio 6 (RadMac) and then back again the next morning.

The display can only be read from above and it's OK but not great.

The power connector doesn't seat well, so watch out for that. Overall though, this has served me well as a desk radio for some time and at £12.45 you won't go wrong.
Also the batteries on don't last long. Don't even consider using this with batteries. Think of it as mains only.
I have the non Bluetooth variant. Batteries are ok as long as you use the physical off switch on the back when not in use. Does this have the same?
I own one and am quite impressed. Usually listen through headphones.

If you listen through headphones you can lay it flat (with the speaker downwards) and then see the display all the time while lying in bed.

Very good reception I've found.

Glad to have helped. Hoping to maybe grab one of these on payday Could do with one for the bathroom, kitchen or bedroom... Or all three for that price

Good reduction but only mono, presumably stereo via the headphone socket.

DAB+?
Lasts a while longer on batteries if using it in FM mode, DAB munches them quickly!
Received mine this morning. Really please for the money.

DAB+?

Not sure, not in the right area. JazzFM is a higher bitrate than the others though I know that's a + compatible station... Or at least it was.
Were these advertised as returns? Mine's arrived with a dinted box and a scratch on it, no film on the LCD either.

mine was definitely new and didn't have a film on the LCD either, FWIW.

Cheers, the website states a damaged box is a possibility but the scratch is annoying. Have contacted them, let's see what they say.

Mine had a slight scratch/scuff on top. Its fine for me, I really don't care but mine was clearly not A1 new.
Oh well they accepted a return and I’ve reordered. Happy with it other than the cosmetic damage; it quotes 20 hours battery life but with a decent set of Eneloops I only lost 15% or so in 4 hours on DAB/Bluetooth.

If it only needs charging once a fortnight then I’m more than happy with that as a bathroom radio
