Now £149.99! Seriously good price on this model - £65 cheaper than the last offer.

Beast of a printer, it's £24.01 less than it was back in Jan, when I posted it previously. Decent price on a colour laser printer like this. Pretty big paper capacity on it, poss not for everyone though. Could be good for a home office / businesses

Free next day delivery using code FREE200

This is a Brother, not a step Brother (Thankfully my drum kit is safe)

I have a Samsung laser and looking on the auction site I've found new sealed cartridges for the same price as compatibles. You just have to keep an eye on them and they do get listed.
No scanner? Make space for another bit of kit if that is the case.
I'd love this, but I just don't have the office space available. But I probably would have in the bedsit I would be moving to if I dared to buy it. So its not worth the hassle.
Toner fumes in a small home office - would not recommend

Which auction site are you referring to?
Big fan of brother lasers, had a 9015CDW for just over a year, for the ridiculous price for £140. Daily document printing, full colour photos now and then. Ink usage is so incredibly low and faultless print after print. And that's just on the included cartridges.

    Another fan of Brother lasers.

I've had an MFC-9465CDN for some time now - it's been great.

I bought my Mother an HL-3140CW and she's been happy with that too.
This looks like a newer version of my HL-4140CN but with two extra drawers
It's also a discontinued model but I'm very happy with mine, they even look rather modern.

It looks like they are both full ream 500 page drawers, that saves having to store half used wads of paper.
Anyone replaced the cartridges on these and can give an idea on price? Also, would this printer be ok standing for a few weeks unused? I tend to print large volumes in batches, but often only once a month
Shame no scanner otherwise would have taken the plunge ...

    I'm the same.

Still rocking a 1350cnw and want a multifunction solution, scanner, duplex printing etc.

    Anyone know the max GSM?
    No scanner and fax facilities?
Can anyone with one tell me if these print C5 envelopes from a drawer, not just singly?
    i bought dcp-9030cdw for £30 on fleabay

Don't have this one, but in my experience brother lasers have the best value for cartridges out of any brand, lots of good compatibles too. Laser printers can be left unused for a while without a problem, there's nothing to dry out like inkjet.

Same, I have a thing for making pdf
Cheers OP, mine turned up yesterday. I nearly fainted at the size of the box, but once unpacked, the printer is only huge instead of colossal. Definitely check the dimensions if you intend using this as a home printer. Looks good tho!
well pleased with this. But it is a beast. It would not look out of place in an office. So if for home, just double check measurements. Done some sample colour printing, all good.
Thanks op arrived today! And got top cash back as well
Oh and yeah it is a beast
